Apparently you have forgotten that you have repeatedly begged me to be your friend. I get that you are devestated.

Keep begging. One day I may change my mind. Probably the same same day pigs fly and Trump supporters grow a brain cell.

I worked in the warehouse for two years and suffered a worse injury (torn wrist) than anything I've had so far in the military (even though I'm in the infantry) and i felt that I couldn't afford to take time off work so I worked with the injury until it healed.

Meanwhile, in the military, if you suffer any sort of serious injury you get put on a medical profile and aren't deployable. And you're actually given a chance to rehab and heal all while still getting paid.

I thought Germany was generally a worker friendly environment, or were you working in the U.S. when your wrist was injured on the job?

I personally do not think the draft is a viable solution. It certainly doesn't help in regards to those that failed to qualify for the military.

The biggest issue that needs to be tackled is that ever-increasing number of obese/fats kids.

Things I propose to solve this issue:

1. Dramatically increase financial incentives to join the military.

2. Make physical education a more rigorous requirement to graduate from high school. Student's that are exercising and active should be rewarded with better grades, scholarships, etc. If you can't pass a fitness test, you shouldn't be able to graduate.

3. Banning junk foods in our schools.

4. Get Trump out of office. No one in their right mind would volunteer to risk their lives for a CIC like Trump. He's a moron who make a fool out of the office.
 
How about we reduce the number of wars we're fighting?

All our military is used for right now is "interventions" at the behest of the POTUS. No congressional approval.

Maybe we wouldn't need so many people if we weren't fighting so many forever-wars.

No, my previous retail job was back in the States. I live in Germany now but that's only because the Army stationed me here. And from my experience the military does a better job taking care of the troops than [insert random retail chain] treats their employees.
