Trump's Severed Head on California School Mural- Does this Level of Vitriol Concern You?

Do these kinds of violent hate expressed on school campuses concern you?

I think it's way too over the top for anything I could relate to, but I'm sure the SS can handle some pissed off graffiti artist. As for the community response, I guess I'd have to understand how common a problem graffiti was in general to understand if this was politically motivated, for just general disinterest in a common phenomenon. Chances are the fact that Chula Vista is 57.8% hispanic might make it understandable if the give a **** factor is a little less about anti Trump stuff. Doesn't mean they are going to go en masse rise up and sacrifice Trump to the Sun god... hehe

Not my thing, but you guys tolerate a lot in the name of your 1st amendment, I don't see how this is any worse than the Obama stuff, or burning crosses, or going bat**** crazy in the name of fighting fascism, or flashing Swastikas, or tweeting like a 15 year old on a rage tantrum after losing too many times on Call of Duty... It fits right in in the pantheon of unclassy **** you guys have going on at the moment. #MAGA ;) I wouldn't be too worried. hehe

Well...it IS the FIRST amendment.
As in, the right they thought of first.

It's more important than all the others, and IMO takes precedence over all of them, if a conflict were to somehow arise.

I'll note that the bit about "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" in another document has the priorities fairly clearly laid out, however.
Why is why you can't do the somewhat cliched "shout 'fire!' in a crowded theater".

Because while it's exercising your ability to speak, it's endangering the lives of others.

I find Trump to be a joke as president but this crap painting on a school building is totally reprehensible.

Our country has become a skeleton of its former self. Vulgarity is fully approved now in public and we even have the President bragging about grabbing women's vagina.

I truly expect in another 5 years it will be okay in this country to just drop your pants on a public sidewalk and take a dump then scoot your butt across a lawn to clean it like a dog.

Tribalism begets tribalism, as each side moves to protect "their own" against the depredations of "the other". Yes, open liberal disdain for folks helped fuel Trump, sans racism. Trump's abusiveness and his troll horde's abusiveness fuels the #Resistance foolishness.

I fought a losing battle against other folks on the right for 2015 and 2016. A constant refrain from those I was arguing with was a variation of "we need to fight like they do". I'm sure there are similar arguments taking place on the left today.

Our country was falling since before Trump. Obama definitely helped to accelerate it in many ways.

Yes. Characterizing, Otherizing, and choosing to cast aspersion on entire ethnicities for the troubles of others is bad, and neither members of the left (White People Suck) or the right (Hispanic Immigrants Are Bad) should do it.

Maybe you are blamed. I don't know why. An innocent person is no more at fault for majority privilege than they are for the kkk. It's a sociological thing. We can and do address it, so how are we all to blame?
