JANFU:

Unless the US can demonstrate that Iran has not complied with the JCPOA agreement (which to date is has been unable to do and has instead verified Iranian compliance so far), then it should not withdraw from an agreement it entered into in good faith and bound itself to. If Iran or any other state is to be bound by international bilateral or multilateral agreements they signed with America, then so to must the USA be bound by its agreement to comply with those states. If the USA withdraws from the JCPOA, then it demonstrates that its word is of little value past the time of one American electoral cycle. That will impede the US ability to negotiate and demand compliance of other states to deals they make with America now and in the future.

The JCPOA agreement was about halting nuclear weapons development in Iran for from 10-25 years and making non-military nuclear development in Iran so transparent through IAEA inspections that there could be no crossover between civil and military development. The JCPOA agreement had nothing to do with Iran's behaviour in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen or anywhere else. Likewise the issue of rocket and missile development are extraneous to the agreement, except in the case of missiles developed specifically to deliver nuclear weapon payloads, which is very difficult to prove.

Cheers.

What does it matter, if they go along with what we want, we win, if they don't we won't go along with them, we never follow rules unless it works for us.

Should we play nice. please.

Once again Donald Trump will place the US in the position of rogue/outlier.

I strongly doubt other members of the P5+1/Iran will renegotiate the JCPOA without rock-solid evidence of material breach.
