So you admit that 45-er's want to keep racism and bigotry alive. Thanks for confirming what many of us have always thought was now true about the GOP.

What they want is to remind people that the Democrats aren't as squeaky clean as they pretend to be.

Yea...that's what we want. Everyone recognizes the fact that democrats held black people in physical bondage....
On January 31, 1865, the House resumed discussion before a standing-room-only crowd in the galleries above the floor. When the vote was taken that day, the Thirteenth Amendment achieved a two-vote margin above the needed two-thirds majority, 119-56. The galleries erupted in boisterous applause, which was then joined by congressman on the House floor. In the final vote, all 86 Republicans had voted in favor of the Thirteenth Amendment, along with 15 Democrats, 14 Unconditional Unionists, and 4 Union men; opposition came from 50 Democrats and 6 Union men.

Then democrats refused to see black Americans as citizens for 100 years...
Jim Crow laws were state and local laws enforcing racial segregation in the Southern United States. Enacted after the Reconstruction period, these laws continued in force until 1965. They mandated de jure racial segregation in all public facilities in states of the former Confederate States of America, starting in 1890 with a "separate but equal" status for African Americans.

Today, the democrats hold the black population in mental bondage...which is why they're so worried about the awakening started by Kanye West.

Awakening.

Oh, and you could probably watch that video I posted, too. It might help.

You might want to go read a history book.

Your "democrat" is today's republican.

All the history books say the Confederates were slave holders and Democrats. So all those statues were of Democrat slave holders. I can understand Democrats wanting that history buried. Kinda embarrassin' for 'em...

so clearly, you didn't bother to even click on the video that I found for you.

I led you to water, and you are refusing to drink, despite the fact that you are completely parched.

Sorry, but that's just silly. The Democratic party (and the GOP) have changed over the course of this country's history. To state that the current Democratic party is the same as it was 100+ years ago is incorrect. So you're stating that the current Democratic party holds black people in mental bondage? Please explain.

Bet you still think all Germans are Nazis.

Are these Stormfront trolls? These people are ridiculous.

Yeah, it's pretty bizarre to see someone not factor in a party's history when making those kind of claims. Unfortunately for many people it's about proving their party is better; we've entered a new phase of political party tribalism. I hope at some point in time this passes (or at least subsides) where the issues of the day become the focus again and not blindly defending a political party.

It's self evident with statements like "25% of black people don't have photo ID".

Any time a black person speaks like a conservative, they're attacked viciously by the left.

Progressives bring black celebrities to their campaign events, as to say "we know what you people like".

You're kidding yourself by your ignorance of truth.

No, even every nazi wasn't a nazi.

But many of America's top businessmen, you know, far right wing conservatives, were big supporters of the Nazis.

How is Trump's race summit coming along?

You mean there were NINOs?

No. There were many who just went along to survive the leftwing, social fascism. And don't go saying that the progressives of today and the Nazi's weren't the same. Both denied free speech to those with whom they disagreed, both banned books that were written by people that they disagreed with, both used intimidation to silence critics, both used violence to silence critics, both took God out of society...are you getting the point?

Interesting. So these black celebrities aren't showing up of their own accord? So people disagree with Kanye and they should not comment? I'm not sure what you're proposing in terms of discourse if people can't disagree. By your example your complaining about people complaining Kanye's comments shouldn't happen either.

I'd like to see that source. Henry Ford became a democrat in the early 20's and was anti-Semitic.

My point is this...democrats invite performers to events because they believe that they are what every black kid aspires to be. Republicans generally have black business leaders, lawyers, doctors and other successful black people at events.
The most telling difference between the parties is this...at the DNC, they showcased families of thugs who were shot while committing crimes. The RNC had the families of slain police officers. That there is a major difference.

But they are ignoring more recent history about desegregation and politics. I can't help but think they are deluding themselves to make themselves feel better about something.

Actually, antifa are the fascists. look up the definition.

You're wrong... look it up for yourself. Also, I'll give you a tip, there is a difference between dictatorships and fascist governments. You're confused.
