REAL reason for strikes on Syria

A combination of wanting to look strong, actual anger at the use of chemical weapons, distracting from his domestic issues regarding Stormy/Cohen/Mueller/Russia and to make him look decisive and because he cannot keep his mouth on Twitter (he had to do it due to his impulsive nature in blabbering out any and all things on Twitter).

Of the reasons though I will give him the benefit of the doubt and hope that he truly did it first and foremost because of his actual anger of the use of chemical weapons.
 
We still expect to be a player even with our really bad record and even though we have almost no cards to play in part because we have been out maneuvered at every turn by Russia.

We did something, having that something mean something and having it change the course of the situation may or may not happen.

We can't do a lot of the things that we used to be able to do, but we can still bomb ****.

The new strikes on Syria were likely a reaction to the Assad stupidity, the Trump domestic nightmare, his tendency to go off half cocked and the defense dept. exerting the limited control they can muster in cooperation with allies. I imagine kindergarten teachers working together to calm down a sugar rushed bully who wants to pull Jennys hair.

Assad is pretty much out of Troops some say, he might have a very good reason for using chemicals....good for him I mean, and he is a ruthless SOB.

And you are right, he is often not very bright.

But maybe he is here.

The USA didn't test the dirt in Douma. The USA didn't test the dirt in khan Sheikoun. The USA bombed stating because of SUSPECTED chemical weapons. They bomb sites suspected of allegedly manufacturing or storing chemical weapons and even with OPCW in Country don't request dirt samples from the targetted sites. The Chemical narrative ruse is exactly that to attempt to save face when it's nearly certain the USA is wrong. The Bush NeoCons that have weaseled their way into positions of influence continue to press for unilateralism/ empire/World Control and bombing seems the only tool in their inventory because the economic arm of Full Spectrum Domnance has failed and their lack of common sense and reason is overcome by their psychopathic natures. The USA, UK, and France want to control the energy flows from the MidEast and manipulate all economies tso prevent Western Reserve Banks collapse. Russia and China don't want to play that economic game. The Arab Spring is described as an Islamic initiated uprising instead of being attributed to CIA/UK/France covert manipulations to overturn Leaders that had independent Banking powers outside Reserve Bank influence. Worse, Qaddaffi was teaching African Nations how to develop their own economies independently and he was sharing Libyan wealth to accomplish that. Economic skullduggery is a Western Reserve Bank tool./
 
Well given that we've granted asylum to a grand total of 11 Syrian refugees this year, the welfare of the Syrian populace certainly isn't it.

Zero evidence of gas. Zero. That's a fact. Rebels were surrounded and had their ammunition and explosives and headquarters under a hospital. They were offered transportation to Idlib and refused. I presume they are all dead. Bullet and bomb wounds, not gas. Witnesses are being presented that absolutely show the gas attack story a Photoshopped event. So, who occupied the area once the rebels left? The Syrian government. Why didn't the Syrian government give access to the area immediately after occupation? Oh, that's right. Only the rebels are required to present attack vectors to the UN and other organizations.

At any rate, I responded "other" since the real reason for Americas endless involvement in the Mid East / Cent. Asia is to make the region safe for "Greater Israel" regional hegemony.

The poll should have been check boxes (if possible) instead of radio buttons. The response was, IMHO, a combination of a legitimate concern about chem weapons and wag-the-dog military action, which tends to raise presidential popularity.

Well we could think strategically. Like the Russian did to us in Afghanistan, we might be doing to them in Syria buy helping them to suck themselves in deeper. Other than Assads loyalists, most hate the Russians worst than the average run of the mill infidel.

Assad is asking his Russian advisors "Are you going to stand for this and not fire a shot?"
What are they suppose to say "If they don't work no one will buy then. It's best to be an unproven threat than and unreliable AA system."

The delay there goes back to Skripal. The OPCW left out the Speiz Lab in Switzerland's analysis that said they were poisoned by BZ and that the levels of Novichok were so elevated that it would have killed the Skripals for certain. SPEIZ LAB, Switzerland. It suggests the OPCW was recently deceptive and I'm sure the Syrians and Russians will want samples of all OPCW samples for another independent analysis. Of course, you will still be deceived by the fairy tales so I waste my breath./
