McCabe built his little fiefdom right under Comey's nose and Comey never saw it. It took an outside investigator to expose McCabe for what he is while he McCabe tried to throw Comey under the bus. We are going to see much much more incompetency exposed in the leadership from the FBI than what we have seen so far. Comey's a disgrace but not to our country or the FBI. The FBI is still full of people that go to work everyday and risk their lives to keep us safe. Sure there are some bad apples in the bunch but the vast majority of them are dedicated to their job and mission.

Not to mention that Comey is self-admitted leaker. Which anyone at his level should know better and demonstrates a true lack of professionalism.

The president can declassify anything he wants. Plus, you are only aware of this because someone leaked it to the press. We really have no way of knowing how often prior presidents did this sort of thing because we didnt have a resistance movement embedded in the state apparatus out to destroy them.

IMO James Comey reputation and career in public service has been tarnished and can no longer be repaired. This guy really takes the cake. He's a showboat, grandstander and was secretly jealous of all the attention Trump was receiving.

You can argue Trump is a national disgrace, but Trump didn't spend his entire life in the government/office. Trump was a reality TV star! Comey seems to be auditioning for a reality tv show! Comey has some appetite for the national spotlight.

I think this book makes Comey look small, petty and partisan. He wound up doing more damage to his own image than he did to Trumps.
 
IMO Comey really ****ed up coming out with the HRC **** 11 days before the election; that was just some majorly ****ed up **** on Comey's part

Prolly not criminal but none the less Comey in the least exercised EXTREMELY ****ty judgment on that call

That prolly influenced a good amount of votes in the 2016 POTUS election; maybe even tilted it in favor of Trump

Trump should be thanking Comey, yet Trump continues to **** on Comey

Wow... the excuse making. Makes me shake my head. And no, both instances weren't because of leakers. One was face-palmingly Tweeted out. The second was divulged to a couple of Russian spies who were personally invited to the WH after the Comey firing. It does not get more blatant that that.
 
Yes, if anything the way his FBI exonerated Clinton and now exists to attack Trump shows that he's a disgrace to the FBI and the US. The more slime that comes out regarding McCabe only confirms this for me.

And yet your post isn't about Comey. And again you make an idiotic assumption. I don't like Trump. I have said this before. I think he has the same low life morals of Bill Clinton. I wouldn't want him for a neighbor. I wouldn't loan him money. I wouldn't loan him my car. I wouldn't leave him alone with my wife. I don't make it a habit to read every idiotic thing he posts on twitter. I don't care about twitter. If he pushes your buttons then that's on you. I just want to read a thread that isn't all tarded up with posts that have nothing to do with the OP.

No. Comey is not a national disgrace. The last election was a terribly awkward time for law enforcement all around, and Trump keeps making it worse.

Comey had a nearly impossible task to perform with Republicans' endless investigations of Obama and Clinton and Trump was quite happy when it was going his way, but when the same person followed the same code and Trump got stung -- because of the bad behavior of Trump and the allegedly "best people" that he surrounds himself with -- Trump doubled down and made things worse.

So, no, it's not Comey who is the national disgrace.

Sorry if you don't like Trump being brought up at times like this, but Trump keeps slinging feces around and if we weren't talking about him he would sling 'em even harder. He wants the attention. The nation is obliging.

And a lot of good people who dedicated their lives to serving the country are getting hurt because Trump can't stop throwing tantrums.

Nope. For example, right now I don't support his military actions in Syria. As for the President leaking info, that's literally impossible. The President is the sole authority on classification and what to do with classified data. Now, if your question is did he unwisely release data, that's possible. You'd have to give me an example of what you're referencing though.

It's downright disgusting that the FBI would release any information of any kind to the NYT, WAPO, or any other media as a matter of policy. Any media infiltration of any kind of our government agencies should be met with treason charges for both the media involved and anyone who releases information to them. And the left tries to claim that there is no such thing as the deep state.

That's not what we're talking about. We're talking about the media infiltrating our government as spies and people like Comey and McCabe purposely leaking information to very biased media. Most of it happens on the left but I also feel the same way about FOX News, etc being the benefit of purposely leaked information to a biased source. In fact, this shouldn't even be happening to an unbiased source. The media should have absolutely nothing to do with being the benefactors of leaked information from our government agencies such as intelligence or the DOJ & FBI. Leaks are unauthorized releases of information.

McCabe and Comey has authority to disclose certain kinds of information to the public.

No, they don't. They all have bosses and it is the boss's decision as to what information gets released to the public. Like it or not, the DOJ and the FBI, not to mention intelligence services, do not work for the public and are not required in any way to release information to the public. It is called the deep state and I am against even Trump's DOJ, FBI, and intelligence services releasing any information to media spies, including FOX News.
