It appears more than ever that Trump is hellbent on getting rid of Mueller and shutting down the investigation as it gets closer and closer and closer to him and his allegedly crooked business interests and Russian collision.

One sacred principle of our nation is that that no person is above the law. The Rule of Law applies to everyone equally from the highest and most powerful to the weakest among our citizenry.

If Trump succeeds and gets rid of Mueller, the big question will be what the Republicans in Congress do about it? In short, will they stand up and do something to empower Mueller to continue or even impeach Trump for his violation of the rule of law........... or will they simply offer some platitudes and soft criticism and basically sit on their thumbs and do nothing?

You guys have been hollering that Trump is going to fire Mueller for months on end.

No, and you don't HAVE to answer the question.
Why make this about me? I just keep seeing that phrase over and over again in every single post and I started to wonder about it.
It is no skin off my back if you don't want to provide any examples, it just means that the phrase "FAILED INTELLIGENTSIA" is your own custom made dog whistle. You are certainly entitled to whistle all you like. ;)

A favorite dog whistle for most Republicans is "FAILED GOVERNMENT" and when I ask for examples of where the government is successful all I ever get is "the military".
How many wars have we won since WW2?
Ummmmmmmmm...........

Does rudely making demands and then when they are not complied with demeaning the speaker work for you in real life?

I encourage you to get better.

I expect that's because he is viewed by many people as an individual who is fully capable of doing something ridiculous and thinking it was a good idea even after people call him on it.

Thus his the range of possible actions is greater, and less predictable.

So far the left really hasn't been able to prove even one thing that they have accused Trump of.

Who ever thought a cradle to present time audit of ones life could be connected to a phony dossier ginned up by Hillary Clinton and the democrats?

If like to see Sessions get gone and be replaced by someone who hates democrats as much as the democrats hate Republicans and fill the federal prison with the Obama administration.

Our President will not be impeached. Matter of fact all of this is just a bump on the road. Next month it will be something else to pin on our President. As you can see all of this isn't bothering him and yes,he sleeps at night.

Actually, he does not sleep at night....

...and to suggest he is unphased by this is to be oblivious to the obvious. He obsesses over it, as evidenced by the fact that he can't stop talking about it

Actually, if the guy just calmed down about it, then his actions MIGHT be consistent with his words that there is nothing there. If he were calm about it, the people might actually believe him there is nothing there. But, he can't be calm about it; instead he acts as guilty as sin.

BTW.... this investigation has been going on since he was inaugurated. There isn't a new thing next month to "pin on him"..... the only thing each month brings is additional damning evidence that the man is unfit for office and likely guilty of some crimes related to his election and subsequent investigation.

When the words, "Trump, fired, and Mueller" are mentioned by the media in close juxtaposition, this is what you get.

Let us hope that us guys are wrong as wrong can be about that.

Then why don't you just wait and see instead of making yet another anti-Trump post proclaiming to predict the future?

Because this is a relevant matter before the nation right now as could be a serious constitutional crisis that I suspect we will fail this time andI would like to avoid that.

Where do you stand on the question?

Why dont you wait for him to actually fire Mueller before you have a meltdown. No sense hyperventillating over events that havent happened and wont.

I wonder where the meltdown was when the Obama administration was corruptly abusing conservative groups via the IRS to gridlock nonprofit tax applications.... I wonder when they demand someone be jailed for that too.

Please show me where I was rude.

Give me one example where you think the "intelligentsia" did not fail, and also where the law was not rotted out and trust in government was promoted instead.
Two part question seeking two examples.

Would you like "please"?
Okay, PLEASE give me one example where you think the "intelligentsia" did not fail, and also where the law was not rotted out and trust in government was promoted instead.

This isn't a matter of proof though.

We were talking why people keep predicting he'll fire Mueller.

None of them will have to "die on Mueller Hill" if Trump can succeed in manufacturing a terrorist attack.
Remember, he just said less than three weeks ago that it would take "a unifying event" to "bring us together".
If that isn't a want ad in the Terrorist Classifieds I don't know what is...it sounds every bit as much like one as the PNAC whitepaper "Rebuilding America's Defenses" where the PNAC prattled on about "a new Pearl Harbor".

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century

Apparently Americans are now so stupid that you can use the same cheap parlor trick again and again and again, and they will fall for it every single time.

Americans happily overlook PNAC, a (former) US terrorist organization, some of whom are a who's who of the GOP, John Bolton, Jeb Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Bill Kristol, Elliott Abrams, Steve Forbes, Scooter Libby, and Dan Quayle, among others.

Basically PNAC was a group of chicken hawks that supported 'fake wars' in which other American's children would die fighting.

Government Involvement in 9/11

PNAC & GW Bush accomplished their directive; to foist a terrible tragedy upon America, to place the American military squarely in the Middle East on a permanent basis, and to permanently destabilize the Middle East for profit$.

Which if I did it would only prove that I am not claiming a 100% failure rate, which I never did claim, so the task would be pointless.

What do you want to know, boil it down and clearly communicate your need and I will see if I desire to fill it.

Wouldn't be a constitutional crisis in any way. Was there a constitutional crisis when Bill Clinton was impeached? Was there a constitutional crisis during the Nixon/Watergate thing? You're just purposely stirring up the pot by proclaiming the future for rabid partisan reasons.

the constitutional crisis would be if the republicans in congress allowed Trump to get away with firing mueller.

I could predict that the sun will rise tomorrow and I could also predict that the Cleveland Browns will win the Superbowl next year. So what? Anti-Trumpsters say everything bad about Trump they can, whether it is true or not, provable or not, and even if they have to very partisanly try to predict the future for political gain. What I'm saying is that the left has been saying for a year now that Trump and his campaign colluded with the Russians in order to influence the election and even Mueller hasn't found any proof of that and lefties have been saying that Trump is going to fire Mueller for many months now, and it has never happened. Next up: The left will predict that Trump is colluding with Coca-Cola in order to illegally get free cokes in exchange for promoting their product on CNN.

I wasn't commenting on whether it's a correct prediction or not, just why I thought it was being predicted.

Oh, now I see. You mean like when Bill Clinton was impeached and the Senate would not convict, even though Clinton was indeed guilty.

We as Americans can only hope our Congress has not slipped this far. If it has, hopefully a correction takes place in November and our nation is saved, otherwise the Constitution is meaningless and we deserve to fail.

The left will predict anything they can that is anti-Trump. That's a no brainer.
