Is the GOP still the "party of fiscal responsibility"?

Neither side is the party of fiscal responsibility. It is dishonest to hang that around the Republican's necks when Democrats aren't either. Together, they make a great team.

Well we know you definitely don’t care about your side lying but it was funny during the obama admin that you cared about it. Funny how that goes huh?
Dems never claimed to be. It's the Rep's de facto slogan. Protest denied.
The difference is a matter of scale. Both parties are fiscally irresponsible but the DNC is FAR more so than the GOP. It's like having two kids who are both irresponsible, both are broke, but one is buying comic books and the other is buying cars.
But it's hypocritical of the left to complain about the right not being fiscally responsible when they aren't themselves.
