What happened to the OP? :lol:

I don't wanna go into a public bathroom with anyone else in the room but a genetically/gender born woman...nor would I want my daughters to...

Love, joy, peace, long suffering. Do you thing someone changes sex just for ****s and giggles??? Whether it be psychiatric, hormonal whatever it's not an easy choice. Love, joy, peace, long-suffering.... FFS!!!

Alright here's the deal. There will be no laws forcing people to cater to transgenderism. This means that the private sector is allowed to discriminate against them, private schools are not forced to provide bathrooms for them, no public funding for transgender programs, and most importantly, no misgendering laws. In return, government will not be allowed to infringe on transgenderism. This means no restrictions on gender reversal surgeries, no bathroom laws, no discrimination in the public sector, and no prohibition from serving in the military.

People who don't like transgenders don't have to cater to them and transgenders are free from government infringement.

My opinion on transgenger rights.

They should have the same rights as every non transgender american.
They should be protected from discrimination in the same ways as other groups.
They should be treated the same as everyone else.

My opinions on sexes.

Penis = male
Vagina = female

I do not believe that a person's gender is an identity. A person can be who they are regardless of how the pee. People can dress however they wish. If a man wants to dress like a woman or a woman like a man I don't care. If it makes them happy then go for it. They should not be looked down upon or treated differently because of it. If a person wants to change their gender for whatever reason they wish, it should be their right and their choice to make without concern of social consequences.

Where I have a problem with transgender rights or wishes or however you want to call it is bathrooms. Bathrooms should not be based on an identity. Or if a person puts on a dress. Or if they are wearing enough make up. Penises and Vaginas should determine which bathroom you go to. Pre or post op, never getting op, or any other scenario. Penises in one room, vaginas in another.

When it comes to businesses choosing to serve transgenders (or anyone else) I think they should be able to choose who they do business with. If a person wants to refuse to do business with a person based on gender, race, or anything else it should be their right to do so as stupid as I think it is. That is a part of freedom. However, they should be forced to clearly display on the exterior of the building, on their webpage, and all advertisements that they won't so that all consumers can make informed choices. If a person wants to be racist, homophobic or whatever at least be openly honest about it and let consumers put them out of business.

1.)There are no laws now forcing anybody to "cater" to gender, race, religion, sexual orientation etc.
2.) private sector can already discriminate within the law
3.) private schools arent "forced" to make bathrooms for transgenders now
4.) people who "dont like" transgenders do not have to "cater" to them right now

so theres no deal that needs to be made. in the not so far away future sexual orientation and transgenders will be nationally protected from illegal discrimination under sex and gender and sexual orientation laws. ANd people still wont be forced to do any of the things you claimed. :shrug: seems you dont understand how laws rights or america works.

Sounds pretty good except for the public bathroom part...when their rights infringe on mine, I draw the line...

You would rather someone who looks like a man but has a vagina come into the female restroom?

By your standards....he would have to use the women's restroom even though he identifies as a man. Is this really what you want Elvira?

Just on the topic of the bathroom, I don't think any of us know what biological sex the person is in the next stall, so it shouldn't matter.

If a man dressed as a woman walks into a ladies room and sits down to do what she needs to do, nobody else in that bathroom knows what is going on inside that door.

Is the concern what that person will do on the way to the stall and coming from it?

The government "won't infringe," but will single them out exclusively for denial of necessary medical care? The government "won't discriminate," but will single them out as the ONLY minority that doesn't have discrimination protection? That's absolute bull.

No deal.

Be what you want to be, just don't take something or force something on me. (In any way shape or form)
