Let's say it is up to us

The offer on the table is 100% Amnesty for 100% Border Wall funding.

Deal or no deal?

Deal, though I'd want to know more about the intentions on enforcement afterwards.

I voted no...I want the wall but I also want to end chain migration and the lottery system in favor of a merit based system.

Too bad you didn't (maybe intentionally] offer this poll a "Other/Explain" option.

Absolutely. So at 2020 when voters are looking for the 20-25 billion dollars and border wall that can fall squarely on Trump's failure to uphold his promises that Mexico was going to pay for a border wall.

"So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth."

Not a chance. You do not fund the wall (which I think is unnecessary in the first place) by giving in to the very people who make the wall or other mechanisms necessary in the first place. It's idiotic.

I oppose both, so no.

First of all they are going to be allowed to stay, so why not get a wall out of it if that's what you want. Now if you don't want the wall, that's fine too.

There is no deal as the leftist liberal party will not fund the wall at 100%. Not even at 50%

I’m not a fan of either but I think I would take that deal. At worst it would be an interesting experiment.

I would say no to both options.

Illegal aliens need to carry their ass back from whence they came.

And the wall? That's just retarded. Fool's talk.

No deal, I have never supported nor will I support 100% amnesty for all illegals here, nor do I support a continuous wall along the entire border, not needed, possible, or a good use of tax payer dollars. The answer is not in the extremes but more toward the middle.

Amnesty is gonna cost more than just the wall

Yeah sure why not.... I barely give a flying **** anymore anyway.

Two thumbs way up. If this is what it takes for Donny Boy to get his wall, so be it.

And don't forget, even the most passionate immigrant rights supporters don't want 100% amnesty. Even they do not mind exceptions for violent felons, for example.

I voted no deal.

On the other hand, if you give me 100% funding for the wall today, I'll promise to think about giving the dreamers the same path to citizenship that every other immigrant gets...and I won't kick them out of the country (assuming they keep their noses clean) while they are trying hard to make up their minds about it.

You'll notice, I'm sure, that I said nothing about all the other illegal aliens. That's because they aren't part of the deal. They need to get out. Now.

Wall is expensive, stupid, and not needed.

No deal. I don't support 100% amnesty and certainly don't support spending any money on a wall.

Building a wall is really a dumb idea, because first chance...that thing is coming down.

I'd give him his da-n wall for amnesty for Maria. But, I just don't think the wall needs to be across 100% of the landscape. If you're familiar with the West, you'd realize that barriers like California's New River, are sufficient barriers already (since that body of water already claims many lives every year).

Most of the wall funding would go to Trump supporters who have bought Trump properties and memberships filing as contractors. Then it will be siphoned off without much of anything being done. The blame will be placed upon property owners who fight it with lawsuits. Trump will claim it is being paid for by Mexico, through tariffs and taxes, but we will have already paid increased taxes and then we will pay additional costs due to the tariffs, therefore paying for it twice and still not having it.
Winning!

I like the idea of a merit system. Say, those with clean records get to stay and those with blemished records get to have a probation period. Based on the kind of infractions they had acquired before the bills inception?

Serious offenders, are given no chance whatsoever.

If you want 100% amnesty then I am going to want a helluva lot more than a wall.

No deal. I'm not in favor of complete amnesty or a border wall.

What are some viable options with handling the illegals that are here? Seeing as there are millions of them and we've got state and local elected officials playing the scofflaw, refusing to comply with federal law or aid and assist in apprehension?
