Fact; the people should get to choose who they vote for; it ain't up to some mental health team, or Agent J to decide who those candidates will be. No one wants what you're pushin'.... no one wants your police state. Give it up, Cubby, you lost.

and anther failed straw man and lie that nobody said LMAO
When you have any facts to support your failed claims please let us know, thanks!!!

You still believe our candidates for office and potential exec hires need a mental health exam as a qualification. Absurd nonsense. Idiotic. Pathetic and stupid idea. Even dangerous. Do you ever listen to yourself? You sound like a Nazi.

Learn how this country works; it's probably different from where you're from. I hear Russia and China screen their candidates through a rigorous Party mental health apparatus. You know, to see if they're qualified and all. I hear Stalin and Mao did very well. You have so much experience being mentally evaluated, you would probably also do well.

We have 350 million of them. If you want your candidates screened like they do in Russia, the go to Russia.

We don't do that. Just because the election didn't go your way you want to have a "Plan B", eh?

No need for that. If someone becomes a candidate for high office the opposition would be able to zero in on that during the campaign
process. I recall if I remember correctly McGovern selected his vice presidential mate & within a day or two he had to withdraw because
of something concerning the topic at hand. I forget his name but I think he was a senator from Missouri.

That was Thomas Eagleton of Missouri. He was a vice-presidential candidate for 18 days when it became public knowledge that he had once been treated for mental illness. As I remember, he suffered from depression after an especially gruelling election cycle. He even had electro-shock therapy for it.

Screening our candidates for mental issues is the stupidest idea I've seen in quite a while. The potential for abuse and manipulation is enormous. Of course, the elites know better than the great unwashed masses who is qualified to lead us; and it would be them of course. One step away from a police state. Don't ya' know right now they'd love to send the Trump "Deplorables" to re-education camps. However, I also prefer to let 350 million American voters do the screening.

BTW; Agent J; get some new insults. Your current ones are getting boring. You repeat yourself constantly. I know how much you love ad hominem attacks, but juice it up a little bit. I notice you use the same ones on everybody. Stale. Strawman, butthead, liar liar; school yard vocabulary. See if you can get more creative.

We are seeing what happens when someone who is mentally unstable becomes President. Should mental/psych tests be compulsory at some point in the Presidential race with nominees being barred from the office on the advice of medical professionals? Either before the polls or at the President-elect stage (and the veep possibly taking over).

edit: not letting me do a poll. A yes/no poll if any mods are listening!

Hmmm. I am not at all for requiring a psychiatric examination for Presidential candidates because who got to do the exam would just be another contentious political bruhaha. And we have ample provision in the Constitution for removing any elected official who proves to be unfit or incompetent to do the job.

But it would have been interesting if Donald J. Trump had passed a psychiatric exam with flying colors and Hillary Clinton didn't it. :)

As I recall, it was learned he had been treated for depression. Which by today's standards is a nothing burger assuming it's not severe.

BTW, who is going to screen the screeners?

Anyone that cannot see that Trump is a walking personality disorder who is both mentally and intellectually unfit for the presidency, would not be convinced by medical professional either.

More boring school yard bully tactics. Your vocabulary needs expanding. Your use of strawman is incorrect and quit lying about people. When you have any facts check back in. And develop an argument. Just calling people names isn't productive and reflects badly on you. Shows a lack of intellect.

BTW; it didn't work.

Still with the straw man stuff. Quite the internet bully, you are. But you need to expand your vocabulary, like I said. You're just tiresome, now. I looked over your posts and see that you do this with everyone, and the vocabulary never changes. I don't feel special anymore.

BTW; I'm still here if you need me, despite all your efforts to the contrary.

LMAO thats what I thought.
Let us know we are waiting!, thanks!

It shouldn't be compulsory if the president does not want to do it.

It should be mandatory by a panel of senior psychiatrists, much like the supreme court or a jury in number (odd). At a pre-screening candidacy level. It beggars belief that such an individual as Trump skipped past the normal checks and balances in the present system, exposing them as inadequate.

And those who believe as you wouldn't be convinced by medical professionals if he was given a clean bill of psychiatric health.

When has Trump been given a psychiatric examination? He hasn't. Furthermore, if you don't think the guy is a textbook narcissist, then I don't know what to tell you. Seriously, do you honestly think that there is nothing mentally wrong with Trump?

He may have at some point. I don't know that and neither do you.

I don't have a degree in psychiatry and I'm willing to bet you don't either, so I'm not going to make an armchair diagnosis of someone, especially someone I hate. That would be nonsensical.

I would like to point out that you've proven the point I was trying to make. People who think like you will never accept a diagnosis from a doctor unless it confirms your politically driven conclusion.

No, because psychiatry is full of a bunch of pseudo-science bull**** so it wouldn't matter as you could just pick one who you know would give you a good review, if it ever happened. Additionally, the person doing the exam could be subject to their own personal bias and project a bunch of BS onto the candidate because they personally don't like them.

That is a cop out. We all know crazy when we see it.

Not a cop out at all. Trump was voted by 62 million people. Are you saying that at least 62 million people are crazy? Oh, wait a minute, I forgot. Yes, the left believe that over 62 million people are racist, bigots, and are all of the ists that can be listed.

No, it would be unconstitutional.
