Does anyone here actually care, at all about this counter scandal that we're hearing about as the walls are closing in on Trump?

Comey, Clinton, Mueller's team bias, etc.?

Does anyone here give a **** about any of that?

Isn't the counter scandal just to draw attention from the Mueller investigation. As to Trump, me thinks he does protest too much.

methinks the goal of the counter scandal is to give the Trump administration a reason to fire Mueller. Discredit the FBI as Democrat shills and then they have to "clean house" for the "good of the nation"

And the Trump base is ready and willing to believe that anything that endangers Trump is a Democrat ploy. So, they don't really have their work cut out for them. Problem is that's only about 25% of the electorate, the rest of the electorate still has more than two brain cells to rub together.

Just garbage they sell to the idiots who are their base. A base, I must say, which is now down to below 30% of the voting population. Lost cause.

I wonder if Trumps' base understands that Mueller is a Republican & has been forever? I wonder if Trumps' base understands that Mueller has more integrity within one onethousandth of one of his pinky fingernails than Trump has within his complete Earth sized Sun ego penis balloon?
 
Even Fox viewers' disapprove of Trump has risen. The counterscandal is a device to justify firing Mueller since it's a sacking offence if he had done what they claim. It's nonsense of course, but that doesn't make it less true to the credulous remaining support. I'm concerned about the counterscandal, but only so far as it's a useful lie.

I think Trump's base understands that Mueller is the same type of Republican as McCain, Corker, Flake etc. ... LOL ...
and their integrity is non-existent - just like Mueller's.

No. Neither of those people are in power. Likewise, if Trump wasn’t President I wouldn’t care about any investigations involving him. If Hillary won I would be very interested in any investigations involving her.

I could care less about the Clinton's, they're has-beens. But if they're dirty - yeah throw them in the can.

However I do care very much about the orange one, because he's running the country. Everything I've seen so far, indicates he needs to be removed from power. He's an extremely dangerous man, and I believe he and his family will likely be going to jail, either during or after his term in office, whether that be by federal or state charges.

Nope. I used the same example. When that guy was caught on tape at CNN talking about the ratings and how he thought the Russian collusion story was fake news, even though he was a nobody at the network who the right tried to portray as someone really important, he is still allowed to have that opinion. As long as Mueller doesn't pull a Comey, and shows us the proof once he declares his findings and charges, all of this won't matter and Mueller knows this. He is playing the long game Trump doesn't know how to do.

As far as the well politicized stuff, you're probably right.

But who knows what they may find, if they ripped through her financial records in their foundation?

I'm not saying they should go after her, but the Clinton's likely played fast and loose somewhere in that foundation. Just like Trump likely did with some facets of his finances. But I see no reason to cut either slack, because I'm not at all happy with the way law and justice are meted out to the wealthy and powerful.

So I say "throw the book at them", just as the courts surely would for those of us without great wealth or power.

He was head of the San Fransisco branch of the FBI and your saying he's a republican, I could be wrong but that seems like 'FAKE NEWS'
 
I don't care about the counter scandal in the sense that I think it is a complete non-story. I care only if it is effectively used to discredit the investigation and get Mueller fired. FOX News is far too comfortable aiding an authoritarian style leader, and it's pretty freaky to watch them jump through hoops they do to protect their leader.

I don't care about either. One side is upset their gal lost so they are trying to do any and everything they can to try to remove Trump or at least try to discredit his presidency. Which is what pathetic sore losers do every presidential election.Trump is trying to make the opposition pay.Which is what winners seem to do after every presidential election.
