Humans make typing mistakes. Sue me.

FOX just called it for DOUG JONES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I showed Moore no respect my typing his name wrong - but the voters of Alabama apparently have shown him no respect by branding him the LOSER.

Dis I spell that right Cephus?:lamo:2wave:

I can only marvel at the desperation, fear and loathing that drives, what 6, 7? comments on a typo. How many typos do I make per post? And yet, following the unwritten code of not attacking spelling mistakes, typos etc. I have never been hassled nor hassled anyone else.

But here we have the unconquerable "greatest at everything" president losing a special election and 5, 6, or is it 7 people absolutely must point out the "a" instead of the "o"...such a major, idiotic **** up that THEY have never done, ever themselves....

I hope you and others make note of this childish bull**** and call them on every petty, typo from now on. They are so desperate to find a crack in the wall around them they have to become more infantile than their president.

It seems like a small thing, and it is, which makes it all the more insulting. Chilldish

Because even if it is legal (that determination has not actually been made yet, since the law regarding this seems to be saying that only state level and lower elections, not federal level elections, allow for candidates to pay for their own recount if it is not within .5%), he would have to spend about 1.5M to get it done. He only has about 600K to his name right now and no apparent job (besides from his charity).

I don't agree, at least not for my state, NC, which is a former Confederate state. There are just too many other factors to why Moore lost besides the allegations. He was too close to a Dem in polling numbers even before the allegations were made in a state that is very, very red. I doubt the allegations alone motivated the African American voters to the polls in the large numbers (28% of the voters were black, despite being only 26% of the population, and about 97% voted for Jones). And I highly doubt very many who aren't Christian would vote for someone like that considering his very open views on nonChristians. Young people also were far less likely to vote for someone like Moore.

Until the revelations about Moore's behavior with teenage girls he had a six point lead over Doug Jones.

And it fell to within a point to Jones, and then went back up to about a 3 point lead. He still was doing horrible for a Republican in Alabama. Sessions maintained about a 15 point lead on his opponent in 2008 (I think it was, not this last one but the one before). Alabama is red, deep red and he was still within less than 10 points of a Dem before any allegations arose.

Alabama is also one of the most evangelical states in the nation (2nd, tied with someone and only after Tennessee), and one of the highest for Republican registered voters (over 50%).

Thank your observing that. I simply consider the source in these cases and that is all that is necessary.

I believe, sir. that was the original question. My response is more than you think.

The original question was how many states Moore could win in. We found out the answer is ZERO.
