Tell me, what do you think about Trump's use of twitter and how he uses it.

Is it a true reflection of who Trump is?

Or, is it a diversionary tactic he uses to draw attention away from other, more important thing going on?

Is Trump a very sneaky chess player, or just highly juvenile?

Don't give a damn, I pay no attention to Twitter whatsoever. Trump has the same freedom of expression as everyone else, whether you agree with it or like it or not.
 
Think of being paid to sit and read Twitter posts from Trump, with all the responses and whatever. Who in their right mind would want to do that? Yes, I realize there are such people, but I covered them with the "right mind" part.

Who's saying he doesn't?

And whether you personally care or not, why is not relevant that the most powerful man in the world constantly showcases that he is an utter moron... Why is it, just because it's twitter, is it not relevant to discuss the insane things he says on there?

He is the President of the United States, unfortunately for the rest of the sane and civilized world and what he says, no matter which medium he chooses to say it in, is important.

You can talk about anything you want. Hell, sometimes I think he does it specifically so the idiot liberals can get their panties in a bunch and hopefully strangle themselves with them. That would be a vast improvement for the world.

I chose "Other" because it's both. His tweets are a diversionary tactic. They are brilliant in how they get the brain dead masses all worked up... both detractors AND supporters.

At the same time, they're mind numbingly frickin' childish.

Let's say it doesn't show him to be a maniac and he does it specifically to whine people up and I've seen people use the excuse that he's "trolling the media and his criticizers".

Both make it look pretty bad you're willing to excuse it because either way, that's not behavior befitting of a President. :shrug:

I couldn't care less what he looks like, I care how he performs, the same as any president or any individual. I don't think half the things going on over on Twitter are befitting behavior for any rational person, I don't try to stop them from saying whatever they want to say.

Even among some of his hardcore supporters, some feel he probably shouldn't post on twitter anymore in the manner he does, no one is saying... *sigh* he doesn't have the right, that's not a point, it's a cop out for his terrible and insane behavior on the platform and since he confirms that indeed he has the filter on his mouth of a hippy joint I don't think there's much to your theory that he's just "Trolling".

In any case, in the real world, where real, sane people live, the Presidents behavior is of concern regardless of the fact if its in a speech or its in twitter, because he's not Joe Blow from down the street, he's the man with the sole authority to launch nuclear strikes... And he appears to be demonstrating to us constantly that he's ****ing mental.
 
Trump and Narendra Modi (PM of India) both have ~32-33 million Twitter followers. Obama has 91 million. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has 3.3 million, French President Macron (France) has 1.5 million, and British Prime Minister Theresa May has 364,000. None of these politicians use Twitter to the extent of Trump. None have weaponized Twitter as has Trump.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has an official account at VKontakte ('InContact'/Russia's version of Facebook) but he never personally posts anything there.
 
President Trump uses twitter to divide, not unite the Country. He needs to remember that he is no longer a game show host advertising for the next episode of his reality TV show with his idiotic tweets.

Trump both uses twitter and manipulates the Media adeptly but is also an immature imbecile. You can be shrewd and still emotionally stunted.

When you have to pump up the righteous indignation balloon, I guess a Trump Twitter obsession is one way to do it - most especially if you have nothing better to do.
 
I think he often acts like an immature child, and it shows on Twitter. You can tell when he tweets, and when others tweet for him. The differences are like night and day.

The thing about Twitter is that it is instantaneous. The most rapid-fire social media we have at the moment. Twitter isn't really good for people like Trump, because it's important to think before you tweet, and he isn't capable of that. He flies off the handle and says what he wants, and it usually backfires on him.
 
I voted Other ~ I think some of his Tweeting is good, as a counter to the ridiculous claims based on speculation and conjecture from the left. On the other hand sometimes I agree his tweets are very 12 year oldish!


I think he needs a Twitter Filter man!


As for his Tweet will do anything, its foolish to suggest this meant some sexual favors!
 
It's a concerningly effective distraction from his policies. Agree with his choices in office or not, odds are your news feed about him is quite diluted with paragraph after paragraph about an offhand comment. They're childish and stupid, but you're a fool if you don't believe for an instant that his Twitter is a smokescreen.
