Google Mini or Amazon Echo?

I just bought the google mini on the black friday sale. I havent had a chance to hook it up yet but I have talked to several people who had both and they said the mini was better

Cant get them outside the US (for the most part). However if I were to get it, it would be the Google as it uses the Google Assistant which is so much better than anything on the market. Sure Alexa is just behind, with Cortana 3rd and Siri so far behind that it is not even in the same ball park.

There's an Echo Show now that's looks pretty cool.
Neither because I'm extremely suspicious about how eager both of them are to get you to put one in every room of your house.
I was in Indianapolis a couple weeks ago and Google had tents set up literally giving away Minis. They go on sale constantly and they're marketing the living **** out of them. "Put this always hot microphone in every room of your house so you can be a lazy sack of crap!"
No thanks. I'll turn off my own lights or use the Internet like I have been for years. This whole "smart" fad is pure cancer.
