My, my, my. Chickens coming home to roost all over.

Who should "stand down" (or be removed)

  • Total voters
    37
  • Poll closed .
His omission was that he is not currently in the news with unresolved accusations of inappropriate touching or worse, or pictures of same.

You're certainly free to bring him up, as you just did.

My intention was to probe just how deep the partisanship runs in this matter.... thanks for being Exhibit A

Look at the votes received, then look for who did not vote and members that avoid such threads.
I am sure you are aware of the Moore supporters, and it is apparent that his behavior ( child molester IMHO) is being overlooked by Evangelicals in AL and the excuse makers on DP that condemn a D but will not condemn an R.

Kissing without permission is sexual assault as you agreed. Boasting about sexually assaulting women is certainly a valid reason for a President to resign, surely. I'm surprised and disappointed that a woman would not agree with that.

I guess I'm not a typical woman victim. Someone kisses me that I don't want, I'm not going to cry sexual assault years later. I would have dealt with it then. Actually, when I was younger I don't think forceful kissing was even part of the sexual assault law

If someone kisses me without my permission, I will deal with that on the spot. If it is someone I know well, I will discuss it with him/her. If I see him/her doing it again to someone else, I will speak up loud enough for everyone to hear me.
The end.

No one we know of. She just threatened, intimidated and bashed the women her husband assaulted.

I missed the memo. Thought we were still doing the "innocent until proven guilty" thing.

I voted Moore/Rose based on the extent/seriousness of the allegations. I'm undecided on some others.

Guess you haven't seen all the threads then. Apparently that's changed.

Easier said than done when the man is powerful and famous.

Hollywood, DC and in between. 'Pubs, Dems and etc.

One wonders if people will hold to the same standards for their own as for others.

So here's an entertaining little poll. Public to encourage honesty. If you answer any of the first seven, please do answer one of the last three.

Who should "stand down" (or be removed) from public life/media/elective office/running for same?

They are all swamp creatures with a vested interest in the status quo.

If you look at the poll, the left/right bias on who thinks who should step down is pretty clear. Most participants are more likely to go easy on their own side and give the other side the finger, as expected.

Another scientific conclusion of the poll is that people will create polls in order to lead to ridiculous conclusions, especially whereby that poll creator deliberately leaves out the President, who happens to be the most notable sexual harasser and assaulter, and includes personalities who can't stand down or be removed from office. I've seen some stupid, hackish polls in my days, but this is definitely in the top five. My own poll, "Do you support nun-punching?" was smarter than this.

As the folks over at 538 would say, "Terrible use of polling."
