It wasn't 4 women that "came forward" and made these accusations, (as being spun by right wing talk show hosts and right wing websites in their conspiracy theories.) It was actually the Washington Post who approached them, indicating that complaints may have been filed against Roy Moore's interactions with young girls decades ago, but may have been ignored.

Here is the origninal Washington post article.

Here is the Sean Hannity question & answer session with Roy Moore.

Here is the response to the question & answer session with Heraldo Rivera and others.

I heard that they have already sent out overseas military ballots, so I think it would be hard to postpone this election until next year. So they're options are to vote for Roy Moore or his Democrat contender Doug Jones. What do you think?

What a bunch of hypocrites. The same people who dismissed Bill Clinton's "bimbo brigade" and chalked him up as one of our greatest presidents now have a conscience? Give me a break. The people of Alabama will see this for what it is: an attempt to block an outsider who isn't content with the cozy Establishment status quo in the Senate. Yeah, I think they'll still vote for him.

Man, what an idiot. I hit the "No" button by mistake. :doh

Yeah, it's the left who are hypocrites here. Not the right wingers who excoriate Democrats for marital indiscretions while looking past far worse in order to hold a seat in the Senate. Give ME a break.

Of course they will. Remember when Gianforte of Montana assaulted a reported? Not verbally, physically assaulted a ****ing reporter... he went on to beat Rob Quist in the election... not a lot of faith in humanity right now...

*sigh*

Same. :(

Re: Will Alabama still vote for Roy Moore?

your poll should have had an "other" option, because it's too limiting.

I think some Alabamians will vote for him. Will it be enough? I don't know.

I know many will not, and there is chatter that a write-in campaign is being launched for Luther Strange.

If there is enough division between Moore and any write-in candidate, there's a good chance that Jones will win, and Alabama will be stuck wondering WTF just happened.

Was Moore married at the time?

Was Moore married at the time?

Would it make heavy-petting a 14-year-old better somehow if he wasn’t?

Re: Will Alabama still vote for Roy Moore?

Some will,some won't.

Let's wait and see what the final count is after the election.

When old white Christian reactionary men are your trailblazers, you've got it backwards. The Establishment is the only reason this old creep is even in an election.

All they care about is "their" guy and beating the opposition by any means necessary. If that involves electing a fascist pedophile that wants to jail everybody that doesn't think exactly like him, then so be it. I mean, these people voted for Trump. It shouldn't be a surprise that they're willing to elect scum.

One thing the DNC has to learn is that some people are simply unreachable and not worth the wasted outreach.

Correct. Why does anyone other than citizens of Alabama think they should take part in this poll?

Holy schniekies, have I found that out as of late.

Because we will all be affected by this **** stain if he gets elected to Senate. Before, he just affected idiots who elected him.

When you find yourself hating whole groups of people, like states, a pause is called for.

Trying harder is the opposite option from giving up in case you are interested.

To be fair, the reporter did tweet his horned rimmed glasses afterward in a way that made him look like a real pansy.

This was not a stabbing or anything, it was a very minor fight at the end of a dispute.

Stuff Happens, it is this constant freaking out about every little disturbance in THE FORCE that has the Left not credible as an adult force.

Some people always like to express their opinion even when it has no effect on the outcome.

Why?If I live to be a thousand years old I'll probably never know.

If you know you should tell us.

I suppose if they fall for the smear job they will vote for Doug Jones. If they don't fall for it then they will vote for Roy Moore.

Could be the further one is away from an issue and the less one knows about it the easier it is to have a strong opinion. Get really close and the complexities can become visible.

Example: I am much in favour of gun control even though I spend no more than a couple of weeks in the States each year.

That's why I voted yes--you would still vote for Roy Moore--because you are subjects of conspiracy theories--and attached at the hip to political soap box opera's--aka right wing websites and talk show hosts--that are referring to this as smear.

Re: Will Alabama still vote for Roy Moore?

It's only been a few days since the Washington Post article came out so it's not really certain how the revelations will bake in among Alabaman residents, but as of right now it feels that way.

Quite a few Montanans had already cast their vote before the assault occurred. That being said he probably would have won anyway because the Democrats put up such a poor candidate. It may be wishful thinking on my part but I don't think Gianforte will win reelection.
