Re: Are Republicans "complicit" as Jeff Flake stated for not confronting Trump on his behavior & lie

You hate President Trump. You would go along with it if someone said he had a dick growing out of his head.

Well....Trump definitely is a huge dickhead so that probably wouldn't be a wrong diagnosis.

Re: Are Republicans "complicit" as Jeff Flake stated for not confronting Trump on his behavior & lie

Well....Trump definitely is a huge dickhead so that probably wouldn't be a wrong diagnosis.

Which is why the notion of using the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump has zero credibility.

I would also like to believe that any sensible person, no matter how butthurt he/she may be that Mr. Trump is the president wouldn't want this precedence set.

Congress voting a president out because they don't like him? That's banana republic ****, right there.

Re: Are Republicans "complicit" as Jeff Flake stated for not confronting Trump on his behavior & lie

Look I know you're a Trump supporter and a little anxious about what is going on, and I have given you plenty of verifiable--credible links along with FOX News video's to everything. It's not just the Dossier file that this Russian investigation is about, it's everything that is on page 15 post # 145 of this thread, of which the Dossier file is not even mentioned. So I assume, you're trying to chip away at the Dossier file, to support a claim that everything else is FAKE news about the Russian investigation when it's not.

The Dossier file is something we know little about, other than investigators have verified some of it. Christopher Steele was interviewed by Robert Mueller, and the CEO of Fusion GPS met with the Senate Intelligence committee. We don't know what questions were answered, what they learned--they haven't released anything.
US investigators corroborate some aspects of the Russia dossier - CNNPolitics

Yes, I will give a complete history of what I know about the Dossier file (with credible links) so that others on this board know what in the heck it is. I am not into 1 liners, yes & no answers--without links, video's and information to explain what is going on.

We're talking about a link and a claim that is outrageously wrong ... and made 3 times now ... and which I corrected the first time you claimed it.
You screwed up a characterization of a video and misidentified Chris Steele.
Is that a picture of Chris Steele in your #163?
What does this link, your twice posted posted link, tell you about the dossier? https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...s-bond-n706376

My point was that no one should read your posts and assume what you posted is correct ... as I demonstrated.
As a consequence, that makes your posts radioactive.

I think this is a very good question. Watch the entire 17 minute video FIRST--then comment and cast your vote. Are Senate & House Republicans complicit for not confronting Trump on his behavior and Lies?

Don't Senate & House Republicans have an inherent Responsibility to remove a sitting President who is regarded by many to be mentally unfit to hold this office?

Don't Senate & House Republicans have an inherent responsibility to remove a President who is incapable of rising to the level of dignity & grace of the Presidency?

Don't Senate & House Republicans have an inherent responsibility to remove a President who is not qualified nor competent to hold this office?

I think yes they do--which makes them "complicit."

BTW, Flake was complicit.

Re: Are Republicans "complicit" as Jeff Flake stated for not confronting Trump on his behavior & lie

Yes a lot of Republicans were looking at Ted Cruz. My concerns with him were that I knew him being born in Canada would have been played out to eternity, especially after Obama's birth certificate was an issue for a long time. I really don't go for GOP candidates that campaign on social issues, as I am a fiscal conservative, and prefer that candidates focus on on government issues they can do something about and not wander off into U.S. Supreme court already settled issues, that they won't be able to do anything about.

I like candidates that are totally honest, campaign on things that are realistic--and John Kasich was that person to me anyway.

I understand and appreciate your position.

Your trusted links are CNN, Politico, the Hill and Wikipedia. Those aren't trusted links, they have been peddling anonymous stories for months and pissed away their credibility a while back.

Re: Are Republicans "complicit" as Jeff Flake stated for not confronting Trump on his behavior & lie

My position comes from the fact that he waited to make himself a lame duck before vociferously opposing the President. People have been frustratingly slow to learn that what is happening right now is a power game of the most naked and aggressive kind not seen in at least the last forty years. What this translates to is that actions are the only currency in town, and that talk, especially by an exiting Senator, have precisely zero value. Flake was largely subservient when he believed his seat was defensible, yet that would have been the only time when his opposition to Trump would have mattered.

If he really wanted his opposition to mean something, he would have taken a page from Murkowski and Collins, who started first from the position of serving the needs of their constituents. Flake disregarded the needs of his constituents and earned the approval that comes with that action. So he was a coward for abandoning his state, and he's a coward for only coming out when he has nothing to lose.

I can think of few people who deserve irrelevance and anonymity as much as Flake.

There has never been a President in this nation's history that was so naive or frankly stupid enough to make enemies out of the 3 most powerful agencies in this country. The media, our intelligence agencies, and the DOJ.

The more he calls the media FAKE, the more they will write & report. The more he denies the intelligence coming out of the CIA, the FBI, the Department of Homeland security and 14 other intelligence agencies, the more he implicates himself into a cover-up & the deeper they will dig. The more he insults and threatens the DOJ the more they will leak.

I have never seen anyone come across as a paid poster more than you. You and I both know Politico and CNN have had to issue retractions because they published/posted news later found out to be false because they trusted anonymous sources instead of following up with solid journalism. Discounting it with a cartoon isn't an argument. I take anything posted at just one news outlet with a grain of salt and I take narratives in which multiple sources agree on the way something impacts with the entire shaker.

If you really want to know whats going on in news, you should be a skeptic of both sides and gather multiple sources. You are only listening to one side of the story.

If I were getting paid--I would be on a beach right now, not dealing here. BREAKING NEWS TONIGHT: CNN is reporting that the first criminal indictments have been issued and have been sealed by the judge. We don't know who it is or what the charges are--we may not know until Monday or later next week.
Exclusive: First charges filed in Mueller investigation - CNNPolitics

My 1st guess it will be Paul Manafort--Trump's former campaign manager--who may be prosecuted out of the State Of New York to avoid Trump's threats of pardons.

Or Michael Flynn, Trump's former National Security adviser who asked for immunity from prosecution, "stating he had a story to tell." The Senate turned him down, and then he pleaded the 5th throughout testimony.

I'm not going to watch the video. Jeff Flake is not a hero. Yes, Republicans should've stood up to Trump from the start. It was far too easy for Trump to get everyone to fall in line. In fact, he didn't even really have to try.

Trump grabbed everyone in the GOP by their ***** & they all fell in line ................... bunch of whores .............

On one hand, we have the lies that we can easily take Trump to task on. Though those are many of the same ones that basically any president gets put to, as they begin their first term. Promises made on the campaign trail that are not followed through with, and the such.

Then we have the lies that they try to show us, but on further inspection we see that its just them taking his words out of context. Like so many times before like with what happened whenever he said something, and Hillary got a hold of it. This enforced scrutiny doesn't really help them any either, seeing as it usually helps enforce negative views about either Flake or the members trying to whistle blow from the DNC.

They are fighting a loosing battle at this point, and they are their own worst enemies.

I know just about as much as everyone else on this issue, thanks in part to it being locked away by the judge. But that it also one of the reasons plenty of us are remaining skeptical about all of this. They are going to try as hard as they can to dig their claws into either Flynn or Manafort, but due to their recent success rate in all of this, I am not going to hold my breath either.

Not to mention the fact that they will most likely try to stick this as hard as they can, with what little evidence they could possibly have, and given that track record as well. I am once again not going to hold my breath.

This is the same investigation committee that brought in the same man who was paid to basically create a smear dossier on Trump, that was completely unverified, and the DNC tried to run with it.

This committee, and their own supporters in the DNC, are their own worst enemies at this point. I can't say that I am not interested in this who thing, but I really don't have much to cause worry at this point.

Are Republicans "complicit" as Jeff Flake stated for not confronting Trump on his behavior & lies?

didn't watch the video, but yes, of course. however, that's not the most important point. Trump is the Republican party's neck tattoo. no matter how they tie the Windsor knot from now on, it will still be visible, and they are going to have to live with that even if they do decide to confront him.

Yeah, that
th
is not Steele. This
th
is Steele.
Your have a clumsy way of avoiding the fact that you've misidentified Chris Steele 3 times (now at least 4) despite being corrected after the 1st time.

You also couldn't have viewed your own linked video because you thought the man in the video was Steele talking about his dossier when the guy in the video you kept posting was talking about the problems with the dossier. His name was Nigel West and it was shown on the screen.

How's that for "concrete"? And it's not the first time I told you.

Those things tend to discredit anything else you present because you're content just to get something out, misrepresent it, and hope no one bothers to verify it.
You could have avoided all this by just saying OOPS the first time and not keep replicating your mistake.

And by the way, I suspect Limbaugh and Hannity would laugh at your repeat blunders like I have been ... and my verifiable link is YOUR verifiable link. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...p-dossier-author-real-life-james-bond-n706376

Saying that I am parroting Hannity, even though I don't watch him. Not to mention the fact that I haven't watched anything from Limbaugh ever since the late 90s. Is rather telling in regards to how well I can accept your own form of political blindness.

I mean the comic is a little snarky, even though it really doesn't have a message, and its subject is so off base that I doubt the artist knew what he was doing at the time. Though if it makes you feel any better then go ahead, and post it either then trying to have a real discussion about anything in its place.

This also should come to no surprise to you (or total surprise depending on your lean) but the free beacon isn't all that bad. I mean I am a TruthRevolt man myself, because Shapiro is probably one of my favorite speakers to actually meet, much more so for having a debate with in the first place.

However as a normal issue, I will point this out to you as simply as I can.

Due to all of the secrecy around this investigation, and the allegations they are going to actually prosecute. We have no choice but to hold out speculation, and being so high & mighty about this is just setting yourself for a much higher fall than you usually achieve.

Their track record in this is astoundingly pitiful, and even at this point they are trying as desperately as they can to just save face. Your jabs at Rush aside, this information is what has made my stance as it is for the time being, and if more pertanent information comes forward. I will reserve my right to change my stance on the issue, but I reject being so blindly (and pitifully) all head up my ass on the subject, like some are willing to remain.

Didn't watch the video yet but I have seen parts of it but my answer is yes of course. But this isn't just a republican by any means. I lean right and we are all guilty of stuff like this to a degree it just depends how much politicians are just worse at it and yes its a problem. Now right now it's a very highlighted issue because of Trump but I won't act like its a NEW ISSUE it got to this point because we let it. The blame lies with not only politicians but the people too. The reality is we are knocking at the door of many normal people being united regardless of your lean and the people that don't benefit from like that are losing their **** and the extremists are really panicking.

Independents are the majority voting block in this country today. Democrats come in second, and Republicans are 5 million behind them.

Over the years of being involved in politics--there really isn't a dime's difference between a Republican & a Democrat. They both want the same things, decent jobs, a good economy, good schools a strong military, etc. Their argument always comes from which direction to take to get from A to B.

This is why one of our forefathers, Hamilton did not want political parties. They often turn into more of a team sport, regardless of the consequences to this country. People will often times not vote for the best candidate--because there is an R or D behind their name. They will not support a good bill just because someone on the opposite side of isle presented it. This attitude is quickly taking down our country. The partisan infighting is ridiculous. When they refuse to work with one another and across the isle--government is not working.

Which is why I say: "Partisan politics often results in seeing the truth, knowing the truth, while still defending and promoting the lies."

Yes, they have failed by not confronting Trump.
But the only ones who made a statement about it are those who aren't going to get re-elected, which means they're too afraid to confront him, because they think they'll lose re-election if they do.

And they're probably right.
