Should It Be Illegal NOT To Stand For National Anthem?

Should there be a well defined, and specific law about standing for the National Anthem?

Unless you're in the military or government, disrespecting the flag should be, and is, legal. But just because something's legal doesn't make it the right thing to do. Protesting our flag is low class. Isn't that the flag carried by the Union army which fought and died to end slavery?
