How far are we wiling to take our attempt to scrub the world clean of the impure?

I note that we are starting to program vehicles so that the drivers are not allowed to break speed laws, so this idea is not crazy.

I say no, even if they want to pretend the bot is an underage girl.





Bonus Question for those who say yes:

Who gets to decide the standard?

There is probably porn out there where amputee grandmothers defecate on cross-dressing men dressed to look like the Virgin Mary and he is worried about sex robots being forced to be PC.

I did not say that they would, I said that they should not so you fail in the following along department.

There is a law against child porn animation, are you aware? (PROTECT 2003) Just watching it makes you a criminal. I am not sure what SCOTUS would say if they were asked to decide but they have let me down so often....

I am asking a good question.


EDIT: There is a far amount of animation child porn on the internet, something on the governments to-do list to get shut down, much of it Japanese I think.

I am a criminal because I looked.

Sex robots can be as politically correct as you want them to be. It's your sex-bot, dress her up like a victorian and go on chaperoned dates for the first six months before having sex with it if that's your thing.

Only if the customer wants them to be politically correct.

I'd say that, currently, at least 25-75% of sexual conversation and activity could (and probably would) be considered politically incorrect.

And as to your last point, at some point down the road I predict child-sized sex bots will be at least attempted. And extremely controversial.

Yeah, I think those will be outlawed, and probably for good reason.

The pro argument will be that at least a pedophile isn't having sex with an actual human child. The anti argument, however, will be stronger. Far from acting as a distraction for the pedophile's psychological disorder, it will instead reinforce and normalize the compulsion.

Captain Courtesy has spoken at length on this topic, and if I was a gambling man I'd bet a dollar he would agree with the principle of my argument.

Especially if these hypothetical sex-bots can be programmed to mimic human reactions to situations.
