The SPLC, Southern Poverty Law Center publishes a list of Hate Groups in the United States. As of 8/20/2017, the list is broken down with the following categories:
Ku Klux Klan - 130
Neo-Nazi - 99
White Nationalist -100
Racist Skinhead - 78
Christian Identity - 21
Neo-Confederate - 43
Black Separatist - 193
Anti-LGBT - 52
Anti-Muslim - 101
General Hate - 100

The SPLC has been criticized because it has Christian Organizations in it's list. Although I did not study all the organizations, I did look briefly at a couple of them - America's Promise Ministries which espouses a Zionist strategy to take over America, and Christian American Ministies which tends toward Confederatism. I did not do a thorough study of either of these "Christian" organizations.

I created this poll, because I want to learn more. My guess is that I would agree with the SPLC, that the 21 Christian Identity organizations are misguided Hate Groups. Here is the statement on the SPLC website, for groups in this category:

Christian Identity describes a religion that is fundamentally racist and anti-Semitic. It asserts that whites, not Jews, are the true Israelites favored by God in the Bible. In most of its forms, Identity theology depicts Jews as biologically descended from Satan, while non-whites are seen as soulless “mud people” created with the other Biblical “beasts of the field.” Some groups listed in other categories, such as the neo-Nazi Aryan Nations and several Klan groups, also hold Christian Identity beliefs.

Yes, White Christian Identity and Black Christian Identity are racist organizations.

Are Some Christian Organizations Hate Groups? Yes of course. "SOME"

A group calling themselves christian doesn't make it so nor does it mean they arent a hate group. The Family Research Council is factually a hate group by definition

As far as SPLC I don't know tons and tons about them. I currently have no reason to distrust them but that could easily change.

I think your poll should lump the questions together . . . I dont know enough about the SPLC to really answer but there are definitely hate groups that call themselves Christian

I voted NO because Christians in the US seem to love war & loving war is not about hate; it's about love :peace

I suppose some religious groups can be consider hate groups...Extreme Muslims terror groups that blindly kill innocents come to mind.

The Southern Poverty Law Center seems to be a hate group within itself.

OK i looked into it a "little" more and my stance is the same.

these are actually two different questions and answers.
Unfortunately there are hate groups that claim to be christian, two factual ones are the FRC and AFA and KKK for sure.
If there are more I dont know.

ANd my stance is still the same with the SPLC, so far they seem fine but whether they are or not doesnt change what the FRC, AFA and KKK are.

Could you explain your last sentence, please?

The antifa is a hate group. So is BLM.

Could you explain your last sentence, please?

Since when did a group who identifies with Christians or free speech could on the a hate list list? Seems to me the SPL is nothing but a far left wing group of liberals who promotes its own brand of hate.

If you and the SPL think that kind of hate is going to win you elections you better think again.
