Voted neither as I wouldn't stand with either.

The false equivalency is ridiculous though. How many genocides have anti-fa committed? How many have they killed for their cause? What leadership do they have?

Yeah it's a potential problem, though probably more theoretical than realistic.


If there's two sides, and one side wants me dead and other doesn't, if I can't be Switzerland and have to choose.... well obviously I'mma chose the side that doesn't want me dead.

Who said they were equivalent? They were the groups who fought each other. To say so isn't to make them equivalent.

And if you're only morally redeeming in comparison to Nazis - because you don't advocate genocide - you're pretty spectacularly awful.

1.) agreed :lol: because my half black ass (well my "ass" is actually pretty white) wouldnt be anywhere near nutters anyway.
2.) exactly what my skin crawling dilemma would be, even if the white nationals didnt exactly want me or anybody with me dead, logic tells me they are DEFINITELY willing to accept us as collateral damage or take "accidental" swings at us. lol

Wanna make this poll much more interesting? Force the issue. Remove neither as an option. One side or the other....which do you choose....and why.

Hmm. Now that's a very interesting position, one that I will criticize.

Some clergymen are the best of people and bring out the best of people, what could possibly be bad about that?

Then why wouldn't you stand with antifa then? Is it the fact that they dress in black, wear masks and engage in violence that gives you pause? If so, then a certain level of 'equivalence' is warranted.

I'll answer my own question.

If given no option, I'd go antifa. I'm a results oriented person, so to me, no matter the means, the result trumps the process. I disagree with their goal on the statues, sure. But to me, that's a small issue, vs siding with a group of people who claim racial superiority.

If you're a minority or an immigrant, only one of the two want you dead and/or out of "their country." If you're a white Christian, born on American soil, you have more choices.

I agree and side with the protesters that wish the historical monuments and statues to remain, and do not side with violence regardless of which side, but especially not the leftists, with whom I most fervently disagree with, but not enough to drive me into the arms of the violent right extremists.

I will form a third faction, and we will wait patiently while the others slaughter each other, then destroy the victor while he is still exhausted from the battle. :)

My take as well. Antifa is using tactics I hate, but I'd rather that than tactics I approve, but for a hateful goal.

The only substantive difference between Hitler and Stalin was: Hitler chose his victims by race and religion and Stalin chose his victims by political ideology. That is also the only difference between the White Supremacists and the Fascist Group called Anti-Fa.

Like 98% of other American Right Wingers I want nothing to do with White Supremacist. While most Leftist I hear from are not very critical of Anti-fa.

My vote is "neither" in case you had not noticed.
