Free trade in Narcotics?

No, I don't think free trade in narcotics is a good thing because you can't protect people from it being used as a weapon, at least until we get mark-able tracers that I can snort up in my brain.

Hemp, yes, Free Trade in Hemp is a good thing, let people make their own decisions.

If I were in Don Cheetos chair I would like to say we will charge you what you charge us.

It depends.Currently now no it is not a good thing.Because its used by corporations to exploit the fact they can pack up and go somewhere where they can workers next to nothing and not have to worry about worker and environmental safety laws. Like companies do with China. Some countries use the revenue generated to increase and modernize their military, which becomes a future threat to our country and our interests overseas. Like China is that revenue right now increase and modernize their military.

It can be a good thing if its done between countries where workers are paid nearly the same and there are similar worker and environmental safety laws.

In my opinion, it isn't a simple yes or no question. There are Pros and Cons to both sides. As technology becomes better and the transport of goods become easier the less beneficial it is. Currently, I believe free trade with Mexico would be overall worse because of it's proximity to the US combined with cheap labor means companies will outsource more products there. China however, free trade is good due to reducing the cost of living from the vast amount of cheap products. There is a balance that needs to be maintained that incentives production in the US while preventing unnecessary rise in the cost of imports.

As long as no country has an unfair advantage such as a lower minimum wage.

I just think, charge them what they charge us.

If you your highest tariff to us was 50% then we charge 50% on everything you sell us.
