That still does not explain why you think Sessions did the wrong thing by recusing himself. He had to recuse himself or else he would have been violating DOJ policy.

I never said that....I am telling you how Trump thinks.

And know this, the chances that Trump is going to change approach zero.

These guys.
Dave Brat - Virginia Rep. - it's the media's fault that Trump is bullying Sessions.

Rep. Brat: Media pushing Trump to rebuke Sessions - CNNPolitics.com
Virginia Rep. Dave Brat laid blame on the media on Thursday for President Donald Trump's recent tirades against Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

When Bolduan disagreed, saying that the media did not force the President to tweet his attacks, Brat held his ground.
"I think you did," Brat said.

What kind of representatives are Virginian's voting for...I mean it's surreal.

Trump bullies everyone, the media, the other Republican candidates, Obama before and after the election, even congress, and the latest, Jeff Sessions.
But when the media reports that what Trump does is insane - he cries victim and yells "stop bullying me!"

Keep supporting this stuff, it's making America great.

I'm not sure it matters much. This is a clear demonstration of Trump's "loyalty" to his friends. Sessions was the first high-ranking Republican to back him.

He's about to see that that pays off with public harassment and a great view of the undercarriage of a bus

Nothing like having a bunch of 12 year old dressed in old men's skin - running the US government.

Trump is full of **** when he told the NYTs:

“Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else.”

But if Trump had been listening to anything Sessions said publicly about how he would handle a Russian investigation involving the president, Trump could have seen this coming.

Sessions didn't explicitly promise to recuse himself from any potential FBI Russia investigation in his January confirmation hearing to oversee the Justice Department.

But he did promise to seek legal counsel to avoid the conflict of interest of serving on the Trump campaign and then in the Trump administration. And that's exactly what happened.

Don't forget:

In early March, Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation on the advice of Justice Department ethics officials, saying, “They said that since I had involvement with the campaign, I should not be involved in any campaign investigation.”

In late March, then-FBI Director James B. Comey confirmed to Congress that they were investigating potential Trump collusion.

This is Trump, who somehow or another ended up an Eastern bent..... he pays little attention to what people say in these situations, it is what they do he cares about, and he figured that Sessions was a good enough man to come talk to him if he ever got near where he ended up...recusal.

Sessions isn't going to leave the AG job, Trump isn't going to fire him,
more likely than not Sessions will be AG during Trump's 2nd term in order
to MAGA!

Sure makes my 3.15.18 "Get the parasite out of town" date look better dont it....

What should alarm you is that "we the people" consisted of 65,000 votes in 3 blue States. States that were heavily attacked by Russian bots with fake news meant to hurt Hillary and sway votes.

All it takes is one.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions tells Fox News' Tucker Carlson that President Trump's criticism is 'kind of hurtful, but the President of the United States is a strong leader.' Watch the entire interview at 8pm ET on Fox News Channel.

Poo who
Fire his ass tomorrow PLEASE.

Doesn't matter if he pisses off the Congressional GOP. They won't work with him anyway.

In any case, just because YOU cannot discern his reason, doesn't mean he doesn't have one. He knows more than you do, you know?

Sorry mycroft, i disagree. It is extremely important for him to nurture a good relationship with congress. He does not have absolute authority and so he requires their help to serve his agenda.

I don't know his reasons. Maybe he wants Sessions to quit so he can ****-can the Mueller investigation with a recess appointment (i think he already blew this and congress will avoid recess). Maybe he wants to fire Sessions and is testing the waters of that decision. Maybe he wants to pick a fight with congress, expecting that somehow he might come out the other end with absolute power.

I think all those reasons are terrible, every justification i can imagine is bad. And it's not just me: lots of other people are scratching their heads over these moves as well. I think, at best, his emotions are leading him to make mistakes.

You just don't get it...they won't GIVE him any help, no matter if he plays nice or stands on his head and spits nickels at them. They are the swamp. They are beholden to their lobbyists and the money men behind them. Those money men will lose billions if Congress enacts Trump's agenda.

But Trump is smart. He is finding ways to deal with them. That whole transgender thing...designed to get funding out of the House for the wall. The House has also dropped that stupid idea of a "border adjustment tax". Trump's constant tweets and FB posts...clearly stating what they are NOT doing to the voters and bypassing the Mainstream Media to do it. The Congressional GOP may find themselves between a rock and a hard place. Sucks to be them.

As far as Sessions is concerned, I suggest you dispense with the speculation and just wait and see.

Sadly for some, patience is a learned attribute.
