The mere fact we have to even ask this shows how far down the rabbit hole Trump is.
 
He constantly contradicts himself. Which of course is typical for an incompetent pathological liar. So even if he does announce his support for Article 5, he will see something during his daily 12 hours a day TV marathons (just 12 hours because has to include some time for golf as well) that pisses him off, and will tweet something contradicting any support he previously stated.

I'm not sure that making a statement about NATO at a non-NATO summit would be the correct venue?

Why do you ask? I may have missed something. Has Trump tied the G20 (which is an economic summit) to military force and NATO?
