Trump has reportedly asked his aides to come up with 'deliverables' he can offer to Putin in their big meeting

Trump will be meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin on Friday (July 7) at the G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany. The meeting between the two leaders was initially going to be on the sidelines of this week's G20 summit, but on Tuesday the White House said the Trump-Putin meeting would instead be an official, bilateral sit-down. This no doubt means that Trump will go to Hamburg fully prepared to offer Putin concessions. Last week Trump ordered his staff to equip him with 'deliverables' (concessions) for the Putin meeting. No one outside the White House knows what sort of concessions Trump now has in his pocket. At a minimum, Trump could return the two Russian spy compounds in New York and Maryland that were ordered closed by Barack Obama as part of measures to punish Moscow for meddling in the 2016 election. Trump could do more extensive damage with concessions such as remove US sanctions on Russia and/or throw Ukraine under the Putin bus.

He offer him a drushba hand shake and a HUGE and manly smile.

Offering concessions and getting nothing in return is a trait of the past administration. I believe Putin will offer the US concessions to ease possible sanctions.

I really have no idea what Trump will do... and, I believe, neither does Trump. It'll depend on how excited he gets in the meetings and his momentary whims.

Trump is so far up Putin's ass...he will offer him anything that he wants.

Art of the Deal

I think Trump enters these negotiations unarmed. We have sanctions on Russsia because of the USA coup d'etat in Ukraine. Backwards and a non starter. We are invading in Syria and creating difficulties for Russia with unsubstantiated claime of WMD use by Syria. Another non starter. We've moved NATO forces within hundreds of feet of Russia borders creating a tit for tat Russian response. Some room here. USA interference in Russian EU pipelines to try to generate a LNG market for USA exporters. Non starter because market prices will force these issues. Russia reconfigured its' banking policies to make the USA redundant. Non starter. Russia built domestic alternatives to all sanctioned agricultural products and it is working well for Russians. Non starter. Turkey now buying Russian rockets instead of NATO, and the USA support of Kurds in Syria is threat to Turkey and Its' NATO status. Some room here, but the USA has invaded Syria for Energy reasons and the Deep State has cut off Trumps cojones on this one. Iran and nukes that the Iranians don't have. Shares a border with Russia and Russia does not toss its' friends under the bus when its' interests are no longer useful. Non starter. North Korea and NK shares a border with Russia and Russia doesn't seem to have trouble with Kim, just the USA. Non starter because Russia likely enjoys seeing Trump squirm while running at the mouth and aggravating the situation. Without a wholesale change of USA foreign policy Trump is boxed out of any negotiations. Handshakes and smiles for the Media.

Trump has proven he is a terrible negotiator.

Trump won't even acknowledge Russia's cyber warfare crimes and sides with Putin over our own intelligence community. Trump angered daddy when he had to let agent Flynn go. I can't imagine papa is going to accept anything but gushing subservience.

tRump with offer putin the labor of our unemployed coal miners
then he will be able to return and point to a campaign promise he kept

Trump will bend over and Putin will have a happy ending.

That's why I voted "no concessions.

They have talked on the phone recently so, it won't be too dramatic.

I hope Donny Doll Hands didn't forget his knee pads and neck brace.

We should check to see if his ears got longer once he gets back.

We'll be lucky if we still have Alaska in 2020.

Not really.

Oh puh-lease. Trump is standing on the world stage in Poland and defending Russia in direct contradiction to our own US intelligence Agencies. Trump is Putin's puppet. I don't understand why Trump is so beholden to Putin but he absolutely is.

Russian banks, oligarchs, and Deutsche Bank loaned Trump money when no one else would. Trump has long been soft on the USSR/Russia.
