Trump is a serial liar and egotistical jackass, who would be more at home on The Jerry Springer show than in the White House. Since he's been caught lying so many times, combined with him just being a general incompetent in policy and the world, does he have any credibility left?

Honest Donald?... You're selling him short... He is the Master of Mendacity, the Poobah of Prevarication, the Duke of Dissembling... From his early days with the Central Park Five, to his birther stuff ("can't believe what they are finding"), and beyond into his administration, he has no equal. He even lied about the weather at his inauguration, when each of the 20 million present that day could have testified that it was raining... or was it 20 million who voted fraudulently?

The only question is which is stronger, his contempt for the truth or his contempt for women.
 
Trump had no credibility, but his base doesn't care if he lies. They like what he says so they believe it. They're like kids believing in Santa Claus.

And the number of people who tolerate Trump's endless destruction by distractions tactics - along with his obvious dishonesty is staggering. And he's tolerated despite actual, not fake evidence dating back for decades that he's not competent or stable enough to be the president.

I thought the point of finding a means to redress our grievances and get the attention of the establishment/status quo to end the relationship with special interests and pledge allegiance to the citizens.

Instead we get an ideological revolution that does little to empower the citizens...but continues to protect and grow the status quo.

We tolerated for 8 years a community organizer that was an amateur when it came to the economy. At least Trump is a pro-business president that understands how to create jobs in this country.

You don't need to graduate from Harvard to understand basic ecnomic principles which Barack Obama did not understand.

Credibility in the fact he created thousands of jobs and created a business that is worth over a billion dollars?

I'd rather have Trump than a crazy zealot politican. There's a ton of those on the left and right.
 
Trump is really interesting in a clinical sort of way. He seems determined to construct his own reality in which he is universally loved and admired. He won the popular vote. He won by a landslide. His inauguration was the biggest in history. It makes me wonder if he believes all to that crap. Maybe in his mind he doesn't lie. Maybe he believes that what he wants to be true is true. Of course this would make him one sick puppy. He's certainly not a normal person.
