There were a lot of promises made. Although its only been a few months he has broken some.
Here are some of the promises he made
Muslim ban

when Trump was campaigning he was making all of the promises he made for one reason; he was TROLLING the media & TROLLING the American people

Trump pretty much justed ****ed over any & everyone that would believe him

it's actually some pretty funny ****, if it weren't so ****ing sad ...........

1. Muslim Ban.

The court is allowing the ban to go into effect for foreign nationals who lack any "bona fide relationship with any person or entity in the United States." The court, in an unsigned opinion, left the travel ban against citizens of six majority-Muslim on hold as applied to non-citizens with relationships with persons or entities in the United States, which includes most of the plaintiffs in both cases.

Executive Order 13767, titled Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements, is an executive order issued by United States President Donald Trump on January 25, 2017. He has pulled us out of the Trans-Pacific Pact. He has pulled us out of the Climate change agreement, which is a trade agreement handling environmental issues. He is working on NAFTA.

Still in progress.

5. Bring manufacturing back.

Not yet, but he does appear to be trying. Doubtful he will succeed in any major way though.

Not kept, just talk so far.

7. Protect the welfare state.

I guess this would depend on how one reads his Welfare Program proposal. :shrug:

Not kept. He didn't include saudi arabia and pakistan. Two known exporters of terror.

Doesn't look like he has any interest. He did increase deportations. I will give him credit for that.

Did Trump make a promise to behave like a 70 year old baby?
No??....he should have.....that would have been an easy promise for him to keep.

He also promised to Eliminate National Debt in Eight Years. His budget cuts taxes on the rich and increases spending. If passed, it will balloon the deficit and adds to the debt.

He promised to grow jobs by 25 million in ten years. That would be a 208,300 a month.
His job growth is no better than the trend started by Obama. January was 216,000; February was 232,000; March was 50,000; April was 174,000 and May was 138,000.

Certainly that's how he won the election by campaigning on all of that. But his supporters clearly didn't know that there are 3 branches of Government, the Judiciary, the Legislative, and the Executive--and all 3 are separate from one another with their own authority.

1. Muslim ban aka Travel ban--Was blocked by the courts twice--and now is in a temporary stay of execution until the U.S. Supreme court reviews it in October. Here is why it was blocked.

2. The campaign promise of building a 1000 mile WALL and Mexico pay for it, was about as realistic as Bernie Sanders promising everyone a free college education. Congress the (purse strings of this country) has already stated they're not going to appropriate money for it--probably because if walls and fences actually worked there wouldn't be any illegals in this country today.

** You forgot about the campaign promise to remove all illegals in this county, and I'll let Rush Limbaugh answer that one. This is what happened when a caller was able to sneak onto his program and corner him.



3. Repeal & Replace--absolute failure. John Boehner stated a few months ago that all the Repeal/Replace rhetoric was nothing more than wildly optimistic happy talk for the campaign season--citing Republicans never agree on health care.

4. Trade deficits--are nothing more than paper deficits--but he sure riled the crowds up over this one. Mexico & Canada are smaller populated countries than we are so we buy more products from them-which creates a paper deficit. Mexico is the 2nd largest purchaser of American goods in the world. We can't expect them to buy 2 washers & dryers per family from us. Get tough on China? I doubt it, he owns hotels in China. They have him held hostage.
