Re: Is 45 a good person?

I live in NY. I've known about Trump for 30+ years. Heard him speak live a couple of times.

He was an a'hole 30 years ago, 10 years ago, and now.

He's never been a 'good person'. NEVER.

Donald Trump about cares about Donald Trump and Donald Trump's wealth.

The people who voted for him were conned, and someday it will come out that they were conned and Trump really thinks they were stupid to vote for him. The whole Birther nonsense was just the start of how he could con people and how stupid they were to believe his BS. And it worked.

So no, he is not now or has ever been a good person.

Children adapt to their parents.

So they've probably always kissed his butt.

Cuz that's what he likes.

They don't seem like butt kisser's... they seem competent and independent

He certainly loves his kids; beyond that, the dude is clearly a self-serving sociopath.

Trump reminds me of that geeky kid in junior high, who was always trying to fit in with the "cool kids" by telling crude/lewd jokes and acting outrageous...but in reality had no friends and everyone just kind of looked at like "What an idiot".

Trump is six feet of reeking stacked crap which badly needs to be flushed. He is mentally unbalanced, suffers from multiple personality disorders, is a terrible bully, has a feeling of entitlement as big as the Grand Canyon on steroids and is a serial liar to boot. Onto of that he has huge self control issues and has the attention span of a gnat and the intellectual ability of the village idiot.

I am sure there are worse people. Charles Manson comes to mind as does some other mass murderers. But Trump is easily the worst person to ever hold the White House.

Oh, I believe he sees his supporters as nothing but a bunch of gullible suckers... as do I.

It wouldn't surprise me if he openly mocks them behind closed doors.

I think he loves his kids. That's about all he has going for him in the morality department.

John Wayne Gacy loved his kids. That's hardly the measure of a good person.

All these good person polls are pointless.

Because anyone that believes Trump is in anyway a good person is so delusional that you are never going to reach them anyway.

I'm sure he does.

And someday that will come out. Some of his supporters won't care, because they are truly deplorable, and stupid suckers. But others will be hurt and want him gone. I just hope we can survive until then.

The supporters that will defend him no matter what, like these tweets remind me a little of Stockholm syndrome. They're all in with this guy, they've bonded with him, they'll stick with him to the end. It's like he holds them as hostages. It is sad, but very dangerous having this child, this moron in control of the power and military this country possesses.

Re: Is 45 a good person?

When Trump's term as POTUS ends, I would likely change my poll vote from #4 to #2.

I want Trump's term to end ASAP!

No. Donald Trump is cowardly. Manipulative. Dishonest. Twists the facts into non-facts OR, as he likes to call them "alTERnative facts". He never does anything independently relying upon vast conspiracies whilst touting conspiracy theories. He makes fun of health issues. He can't go five ****ing minutes without talking about himself. He talks about his ****ing dick on national TV, at a presidential debate no damn less. He can't take no damn responsibility for his actions and mistakes. I can't recall an occasion he has apologized besides the tape leak, and it was an apology for getting caught, NOT genuine.

And as far as I am aware, he's been like this his entire life. He's an asshole. And a moron.

Is Donald Trump a good person?

In your personal opinion, overall, based on what you know and have observed over time.

Attempts to dismiss the question as irrelevant or unimportant will be interpreted as, "No Donald Trump is not a good person."

Please elaborate if you pick option 2 thru 4.

Do pigs fly?

Trump is an embarrassment to humanity. Trump is like an avatar of the worst possible outcomes of American possibility.

DJT is a terrible person.

Re: Is 45 a good person?

Welp, let's see... he's a proud and self-admitted sexual molester who's even said some extremely off-color things about his own child, he's clearly and, again, proudly racist and appears to have been so throughout his entire life given some of his earlier legal troubles with discrimination, and I disagree he even cares about his family. Again, look at some of the stuff he's said and done to his daughter, and the generally callous way he's treated all of his wives. I could frankly go on for ages, but I'd die of old age before I got to the end.

So, no.

I suspect Donald is a bit of a sociopath, to be honest.

Trump has left a business chronology over the course of his pre-presidential life that wouldn't compare with someone like John Gotti. Howver, Trump's background is dark, filled with a lot of shady deals. IMO, Trump would fall somewhere in the mix people like Jack Abramoff, Kenneth Lay (Enron mastermind), Bernie Madoff, Bernard Ebber (World Com/MCI), with a tad of Charles Ponzi...."but not as clever as any of the aforementioned". Trump is more of an aspiring wannabe famous white collar bad boy...who gets away with his unethical business practices.

There's a difference between being a good man and being a good president.

One could argue that he was mocking them in front of their faces right here:

As long ass Liberals/Democrats continue to oppose Trump, his supporters will never abandon him. He's "their guy", and in their minds they'll never let the EVIL liberals "win".

I thought about his kids too, and what came to my mind is how he talks about his own daughter. He even messes up in the "love your own kids" category.

Re: Is 45 a good person?

He did basically call them a bunch of suckers to their faces, didn't he?

Yep. He absolutely did. And they cheered him for it.

Re: Is 45 a good person?

Oh, I believe he is a full-blown sociopath, and have said so for quite some time.

I should have separated out the wives from the kids. I believe he does care about his kids, even with the repugnant Ivanka thing. He seems to treat his wives as he does all adult women, just decorations to be grabbed.

He wasn't in Tiffany's life until recently. Her mom made some funny comments about Tiffany learning what kind of person her dad is, which made me think she is kind of uncomfortable with him.

I can't really say anything bad about his kids, but just because even Tiffany seemed to turn out decent, it doesn't mean anything about his parenting skills. He wasn't in her life. People can turn out to be a good, decent, successful person, despite who their dad is. I don't see how judging him based on the character of his kids is valid.

There was a With Friends Like These podcast where Ana Marie Cox point blank asks a trump supporter at a rally if he would abandon trump if he shot a person on fifth avenue. The man seems to think this through thoughtfully and responds, "No."
