I was also talking about the campaigns.
Why, then we must be on the same page.
I was also talking about the campaigns.
Trump has faced four "special referendums" after he dethroned Queen Hillary. And Republicans are 4-0 in all of them. Are Trump supporters tired of winning? I don't think so. And I bet Trump haters aren't tired of losing.
I've heard the point already, and I understand such merit as there is in it. Take whatever comfort you can from that view. From my perspective, it surely looks as if the dems threw everything they had at that election - particularly cash - and still lost. I'd say you guys need a new plan. The old plan and the current one aren't working. Of course, again from my perspective, the old plan and the current one are the same plan. Hence the need for a new one.
%&%_$ on Democrats as it stands now, is always in the best interests of this country.During his campaign Don Cheeto Orange Dingleberry PROMISED more than could possibly be imagined, and the strange thing is people fell for that pile of lies.
That is OK because people are free to choose their own form of misery & delusion.
Orange Dingleberry is nothing more than a 'snake oil salesman' .............. actually, he isn't even up to that level really.
He certainly is divisive; why even yesterday in Iowa he was STILL verbally ****ting on Democrats
Anyone that truly believes Orange Wonder Boy is gonna be anything positive for OUR nation is IMO just as delusional as Trump is
Me? I voted Gary Johnson ..................
Talking about the campaigns, and not the PACs. Handel raised and spent 4.5 million. Ossoff raised and spent 23.6.
We don't need a new plan. We're taking about Republican strongholds where no Democrat has been elected in decades and they generally lose by 20 points or more. There was no reasonable expectation that a Democrat would change decades of commitment enough to win these seats. The purpose was to take the temperature of the electorate to see how much opportunity there is to flip seats where that is usually a possibility. I'm not sure why you think a margin of victory in Republican strongholds that drastically shrinks to 3 measly points should be a point of concern for the Democrats. It should be a point of concern for Republicans in flip flop districts with midterms in mind.
Oh..so we're just supposed to ignore that Handel got most her funding from outside corporate donors and super PACS, is that it?
I'd say you guys should pick elections on which you place "national referendum" labels more carefully then. Perhaps you haven't been paying attention to exactly what amounts the DNC has been pulling in lately. If you think this was a great strategy, I encourage you to pursue more of it.
Why? I think a swing of 18 percentage points away from a Republican who won by an eyelash in a district no Democrat has won in 40 years has some pretty good implications for Democrats in the midterms. Support for the GOP is waning considerably.
You lost in spite of spending more money than anybody ever. Keep up the good work.
Yeah, that's it. We'll just forget about exactly where Ossoff's funding came from.

Same as with the other 3 specials. You can tell how scared they are. They even defend the low road ads tying Ossoff to the Scalise shooting .
Thats probably why she won, too.
Ossoff's funding came largely from outside individual donors....and Handel's came from outside corporate interests and super PACs.
Why did Handel refuse to speak trump's name or answer questions about trump's wealthcare ?
Ossoff's funding is transparent. The 20 million from GOP PACs isn't .
The real story is that Handel and allies had to spend at least $17.2 million to eek out an unprecedentedly small margin of victory for an area of the country that voted for Trump and was at serious risk of going blue for the first time in 40 years. 3% and at such a cost in what was a Republican stronghold until now is something for Republicans to fear not gloat about.

Then it's probably because the Dems have no credible answer for the Scalise's assassination attempt. Did Ossoff even condemn the attempted political assassination of Scalise's? It's relevant to point out that Ossoff supporters celebrated Scalise's assassination.
