Nah. The health insurance lobbyists who wrote it most certainly knew what was in it.

Bottom line: despite the straight-up ****in lies from the right wing we saw for years, the ACA wasn't actually passed before we had a chance to know what's in it. Numerous hearings, broadcast on CSPAN and available on youtube, bill available online. The AHCA? The GOP certainly seems to be keeping things under wraps. Maybe because the early versions had such abysmal approval ratings from the public. (because they were ****. utter ****)

Are you really going to support a bill that yanks subsidies for the poor just to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy?

Minnie im not intrested in reading links. I wanted to know your opinion and you gave it. Ty, much.

You're not interested in links because you're not interested in facts.

When did Nancy Pelosi and John Conyers join the GOP?

Word today is they're still going to vote next week on their mystery bill.

Senate Republicans are planning to vote next week on their bill to repeal and replace ObamaCare, according to Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.).

"I believe we’re going to vote before the Fourth of July recess on a healthcare plan, a repeal and replacement of ObamaCare," Barrasso, a member of GOP leadership, said on Fox News.

With ten working days left before the July 4 recess, the Senate GOP is apparently still aiming to vote on their health care bill before then. Despite the fact that virtually no one has seen it or knows what's in it.

Of course the secrecy and confusion is a feature, not a bug, as what little has leaked out suggests the Senate's bill--despite early claims they would be writing their own bill--will essentially be the House's universally reviled AHCA (currently sitting at a 17% approval rating).

Best for them not to spend much time debating it publicly.

We make strange bedfellows here. As much as I'm against the ACA, I'm against this even more. Far as I'm concerned, healthcare should be shelved until at least next year. As I stated before, let's see how many of all these dire predictions comes true and which one don't. You don't replace the ACA with something worst and you don't replace something the American people want to keep.

Trump is about as political tone deaf as they come, McConnell is right up there with him. I'll just end with this, Representatives are in Washington to first represent the people of their district, senators are in Washington to first represent the people of their state, that should always be first and foremost. They should be listening to the people who sent them there first. Let them heed the people, political parties can fall further down the line.

We have gotten rid of one senate majority leader who lived and breathed Democratic Party first and foremost with America as a whole way further down on his list. It's time for this other senate majority leader who lives and breathes Republican Party first and foremost with America as a whole way further down on his list also.

God, how'd we ever end up with people like this in charge? Makes me yearn for the days of Dole and Mitchell, Lott and Daschle who would work together for the most part to get things done for America as a whole. Not just their political party.

I don't think the Senate puts the AHCA to a vote before their next recess. Even among the GOPs, this bill generates too much disagreement.

Please ... Serious Question: If ANYONE here actually thinks this Bill has ANYTHING to do with Healthcare, please explain how YOUR Health will be better after this Signing?

I'm not taking about Cost and Money ... I'm talking about YOUR Actual Health and Healthcare.

Please Explain.
