Roll over and take it up the tailpipe??!! WTF is wrong with you?
Anyone who thinks slot machines are "random" is an idiot. Yes, they function using random number generators. But they are COMPLETELY controlled as to how often the random number generators can produce winners. If the house wants to take a 20% return on every cent that goes through it, they simply tweak the innards and they're good to go. An 80% return back to the gambling public is atrocious, by the way. So to answer your question, "Yes!! They are specifically rigged!!"
Casinos aren't built on proficts from the craps table, roulette, blackjack, poker tables, baccarat or any of the myriad other games in the casinos because, other than rules stacked against players, these are all truly random games. They are built on the pure, sure and completely controlled profit that they make on the slots.
Casinos are tightly controlled by each state's gambling commission. Everything they can do to resolve complaints is tightly regulated. They CANNOT pay a jackpot on a malfunction out of goodwill. They cannot pay out YOUR idea to resolve that complaint, a smaller amount. Hell, they can't even buy you a DRINK for goodwill.
That blue screen showing the payout was a malfunction all on its own. The slot techs no doubt simply LOOKED at that and KNEW the machine had malfunctioned. That's not how machines pay jackpots. Period.
