But what a juvenile name.
Ah, but that's the best part.

I wonder what our great-great grandchildren will think of us when researching some of the gems that Trump tweeted. Can you imagine pulling records of a president from our great-great grandparents time and reading such nonsense? Did James Monroe ever call out his haters and the losers?

The proposed law amends what records are kept by the National Archives from the President to include social media. Since that is Trump's preferred communication medium, what do you think of this?
I imagine that if we go the route of Idiocracy one of two things will be inferred.
1. Either he will appear super smart.
Or
2. They will call him a fag.
I'm only twenty. I can't even imagine what my great-greats will say about this ****, but I'm determined to live long enough to tell them about it.
Or both! lol
Do you see them laughing in N.Korea? How about Syria?
No, they will not be talking of false claims as if they were real.Scholars of the future will talk of the Orange President who grabbed ******s ...
Actually Yes, BIG TIME ... how many Rockets ave Trump watched get launched in just the last 6 months?
Have you somehow convinced yourself that the President didn't say this?

Because there is audio...
Given the changing times it makes sense to expand the scope of Presidential records keeping.
But what a juvenile name.
So here's my honest question.
Are phone calls that the president makes as a citizen, not as the President, recorded. IE, if he calls his mother, are they recorded? If he calls his friend about his Golf game, is that recorded?
Are emails from a Presidents private account a Presidential record? Always, never, sometimes? If they contain nothing at all relating to the Presidency? If they reference the Presidents opinion on a political matter but no "official" business? Or if talking "business"?
Were Reagan's "fireside chat" radio broadcasts Presidential Records?
Was the Op-Ed that President Obama penned for Newsweek considered a Presidential Record.
This isn't a smarmy question, but a serious one, because I don't know in many of those cases and it would impact my decisions here.
On one hand, a social media account of the President that's being used for their own private purposes does not seem like something that should be part of the public record. On the flip side, if the social media account is being used as a platform for providing the President's political messaging, I see no reason why it should be treated any different than instances where other media was used, such as Reagan's fireside chats. Thus, if those were presidential records, I see no reason why a collection of tweets...when used as a means of presenting the President's feelings, or views, to the public about a matter dealing with politics or the law...shouldn't ALSO be considered presidential records.
So essentially, I don't really think ALL social media interactions should be kept as a Presidential record...just like I wouldn't say that if Reagan taped an audio broadcast for a nephew saying "Happy birthday" that it should be a Presidential record. Instances on social media that are clearly personal and non-related in any real fashion to the role of the Presidency should be fine. HOWEVER, if the social media account is being used as a means of broadcasting the Presidents message about an issue, policy, politician, or other related issue to the American People, then yes it makes perfect sense that it should be considered a Presidential Record.

Sure thing. And why don't you tell us how many rockets. Do you even know?
iLOL :lamo
You haven't refuted what I said.
Do you really not understand that?
I'm sure Monroe had his ways. We are talking about a time when a sitting Vice-President shot a former Secretary of the Treasury in a duel.
My god, all the Trump worship has warped your hold on reality worse than I thought. If its this bad halfway into his first year, I'd hate to see what it does to you after four.
Next, people are going to want recording devices 24/7 on him.
I'm sure there are plenty of Trump haters archiving every tweet. Why should we create another government program to do what volunteers already do?
What is so bad? Be specific.
Whats so bad about Muslims? Be specific.
When you can answer that question like a normal human being, I might give your posts the time of day. Might being the key word.
