By what standard are you making that judgement? It looks like that just another TDS talking point.
I would say common sense.

Except Comey said there's no evidence.
He does not show leadership which as the head of a powerful country is needed. Manual not required.
Oh. My. Goodness. Last attempt at this before writing you off as a complete lackwit. Going slowly:
I. Never. Said. She. Won. A. Majority.
I. Said. She. Won. The. Popular. Vote.
Hillary Clinton wins popular vote by nearly 2.9M over President-elect Donald Trump - National | Globalnews.ca
lol...wow, man!
And this was all to answer why people are pissed off. They voted for someone else, and they get this **** stain instead. I get how your voting system works, but it still doesn't mean people are happy about it. Were you happy Obama was pres for 8 years??
Great thread, by the way...ask a question and then berate folks who answer it in any manner other than "because ****-ing Librools"... lol...if I actually cared what you think of me, or, well, anything, I'd be hurt!
In your opinion, which you are certainly welcome to, but does not actually mean a damn thing.
And anyone on DP who tries to state their opinions as facts is just as wrong as you are.
But we don't elect a president based on popular vote, so what the hell difference does it make? Or maybe you're making the only point you can because you have nothing more intelligent to say.
The question was, why are people outraged that Hillary Clinton lost, and I said because she was the popular vote, but not the president. If the question were, why did Hillary Clinton not become president, I would have nothing to say re: the popular vote, but that wasn't the question.
So, I'm left with a question for you. Since the above should be pretty obvious to anyone who took the time to read the thread, are you taking a shot at me because your partisan knee jerk reflex got away on you, or is it because you have nothing more intelligent to say?![]()
Then people are idiots because they don't care how American politics actually works. It all comes down to the same thing. Trump was elected fair and square. When are people going to grow up and get over being butthurt?
It must have been those darn Russians that hacked your computer and made you post this...I. Never. Said. She. Won. A. Majority.
Yes, you did move the goal posts later and say she won the popular vote, which is completely irrelevant to how our elections work.Actually, the majority of votes cast were cast for HRC.

Exactly.
People continually whining about the Popular Vote are basically Falcon Fans whining "if only the game was 3 quarters". It's a pointless whine only ever engaged in by the losers of a contest who are bothered that the actual rules they were operating under, from the very start, led to their defeat despite having success in ways that are utterly meaningless within the overall scope of "winning" and "losing".
But losing sucks, and losing to an entity you detest sucks even more. So the natural human reaction to such a thing is to find a way to sooth ones mind and the pain of losing by latching onto such things.
It's similar to how some Caps fans will once again be trying to convince themselves this playoff flame out doesn't hurt as bad, because ultimately we lost to the guys who won the Cup so we just got screwed by the ****ty playoffs seeding.![]()
I know it's humiliating to refuse to acknowledge you claimed Hillary won the majority of votes which is patently false. Then to be shown that your "she got the most votes" is utterly irrelevant. It is best if you run along now.Ya, dude, your dead baby comment in the other thread has kind of made me too sick to my stomach to talk to you anymore. Whatever works for ya, man.

The only thing Trump has done in the best interests of America was pulling out of the TPP, and even then I'm not convinced his motivation was actually "it's in the best interests of America".Have not the actions and decisions of Trump been oriented to America's interest first? Sure, a campaign slogan, but it would be ONLY a campaign slogan if he didn't follow through, which it would appear that he is.
Oh really. Please, take me down that slippery slope.
If I "fall silent" on the topic, it's because you've brought nothing of value for me to debate, which is pretty much par for the course.
Donald Trump ran on gutting the EPA, destroying labor regulations, building some cockamamie wall that will accomplish nothing, basically engaging in trade wars that we can't win, and a host of other things that I don't particularly care for. Since taking office, he's appointed a whole bunch of cabinet heads who are opposed to the very idea of the departments they head existing;
he's done nothing but piss off our allies (I love how righties screamed that Obama was alienating our allies when he really never did, and now are totally cool with Trump telling numerous longstanding friends to go take a flying piss);
he's constantly exposed his sheer ignorance of ... well, everything; he's a crybaby manchild who can't stop talking about how great he is; he's proven to be a world-class hypocrite (see his weekly golf outings after criticizing Obama for golfing) and ... well, I could go on, but you get my drift.
So bully for him if he's following through on his campaign promises. I think his campaign promises are horrible.
You seem to expect everyone on "the left" to just roll over and let Trump do whatever he wants, despite the constant pushback against Obama from conservatives for eight years. Well, no. **** Donald Trump and **** his idiot supporters.
And yeah, I'm pissed off at Hillary and the DNC for blowing the layup and allowing this jerkoff to get in the Oval Office. Doesn't mean I can't be upset with Trump too.
Nice. Arrogant liberalism at its finest.
The EPA, and many other federal bureaucracies, have been bloated and excessively intrusive for many, many years already (as all bureaucracies inevitably become). This excessive bloat had little positive effect and a great many detrimental effect in the cost of doing business here in the US. Why have so many jobs fled from the US? That's one of the reasons. High time to trim them both (the bureaucracies and the regulations) back to something a bit more 'normal'.
I didn't hear about any trade wars going on. Sure you aren't imaging those?
Uhh. Yeah, right.
Fair enough, as there were many who thought that Obama's policies were horrible as well. What I can't tolerate or accept is the level of vileness in the personal attacks against the Trump family which aren't even in the spotlight, such as Barron. He's a 10 year old kid for Christ's sake! No rational judgement or self control from the left? Instead, from the tolerant left  we see virtual beheading and virtual assassinations. Were it an honest policy debate, fine, but this? Its as far from honest or policy as you can get. Proof that the political left wants to make the country ungovernable, to the detriment of the nation, so clearly, ideology and party over nation (with Soros funding).
Grow up and get over your butt hurt. The political right had to endure 8 years of Obama, and to a great extent, that is a contributing factor to Trump being elected, and no, you don't get to claim exemption from that contributory responsibility.
Nice personal attack. Not at all as if those that disagree with your political positions and opinions have a right to them at all.
The old Seems more truer now than ever before. The right things the left is wrong, and the left thinks the right is an evil to be vanquished.
Not at all. The left is free to disagree. But I do expect some sort of adulting, policy based, and rational, but then again, that may be too much to expect from those that make their political decisions with their feelings (and BTW, I have similar criticisms from the far right as well). So if you want to be taken seriously, then bring seriousness to the discussion, and not just vindictiveness and vile.
I think the illusion / delusion all along the campaign was that it was Hillary's 'layup'. The coronation that wasn't, to the surprise of many, and mostly her supporters. So whom of the right end of the political spectrum caused this illusion / delusion anyway?
Ah yes, conservatives were oh-so-nice to Obama's family.
Your whole post, as per usual, is "the lefties are so much meaner." Horsehockey.
I do not understand it. Trump didn't cheat to win. The GOP didn't cheat to win. The MSM wasn't handing Trump questions before debates. Neither Candidate was well-liked. Hillary didn't have a compelling message. And yet, the Dems are still confused and angry that she lost. I'm confused about their confusion.![]()
Of course I expect such a response, rather than a point by point discussion, which I afforded you.
In actuality, were or were not Sasha and Malia left alone for the vast majority of news coverage? Come on now. Be honest.
I don't think there were more than a few stories and if negative, were roundly, and quite appropriately, criticized.
Further in actuality, the left has become viscous and vile to any and all political opponent for not believing same as they, achieving a new low, far more so than any others. An escalation that really does no one any good.
Was Obama accused of being a '**** holster' for anyone? On National TV no less?
Funny, don't recall anything coming even close to that.
Here's an idea: Hey left! Keep it classy! (for a change)
