Will Trump run for a second term?

Too soon to say.

1. His ratings are extremely low and I'm not sure his ego will survive a 2nd term if those numbers do not improve.
2. He is 70 years old and many are questioning his mental health and stamina based on what they've seen since inauguration. He's clearly overweight and his dimishing vocabulary compared to earlier years including made up words might indicate mental decline.
3. He is Jared/Ivanka's stepping stone into politics.
4. He is not getting as much adoration as he thought he would get.
5. He is not getting the job done as promised.
6. He might die while in office.
7. He might get impeached.
8. He might resign to save face from disgrace.

On the flip side...."if" his ratings improve and he can get things get done that really matter or should matter to our country as a whole....and his health permits...then yes...I can see him running for a 2nd term. But that's an "if".

That's a pretty fair assessment, I believe.

I think the only omission was the legal troubles of his family and cohorts. If he and his are exonerated with no negative business or legal impact, it bodes better than if the feds find problems in his family and friends' businesses and start regulating, fining, or busting them up; or worse yet, if the feds start finding criminality.

I'll be surprised if he makes it through one. If nothing else, his ego is going to be damaged severely if his numbers don't improve in the next 6 months. To a narcissist like Trump, THAT is unbearable. I also think that he will realize that he is causing irreparable damage to the "Trump" brand and for economic reasons might step down. He didn't expect it to be a hard job.

if he feels he has done enough to MAGA he will probably turn over the keys to the country to Pence
who is capable enough to complete the turnaround & Trump will go back to the enviable life he enjoyed before
he embarked on this effort.

He hasn't even completed the first six months of his first term, so the question is really premature.
