100% correct and support by the definition of the words racist and racism.

"It's not that the word racist – meaning a belief that one's race is superior to another – doesn't adequately define the feelings of certain people in the world. Racial prejudice and racism, is certainly alive and often thought to be rising in America and Europe. But I refuse to believe the word "racist" is an adequate characterization of everyone and everything that it has been attributed to as of late."

1.) It has already shown that part isn't needed
2.) Even if it was, how is thinking one's own race doesn't possess that flaws of the other races not the same as thinking ones own race is superior, thats just silly.

Anyway by definition the correct answer is C and nothing can change that. Do people use those words improperly and are there people who cry foul when there is none? Yes of course but in THIS example both men are racist and practicing racism.

Jesus Christ! 4 people actually think that the black guy is not a racist!!?? ****ing unbelievable...

I'm sure your "feel" that way and you have that opinion it just doesn't make it so  I'll be sticking to the facts and you are free to have your feelings.

So you have no facts, and can't refute the facts I presented you with. But you do need the last word? Just want to confirm.

Had you kept mum, that would have carried more weight. ;)

Hard to say, it really depends on the audience and what's the last thing they read.
I'm thinking of not letting it go, for purposes of shaming. When someone chooses to post such childish and moronic claims, it just cries out to be carried around the public square on display.

You haven't presents ONE single fact that make the two guys in the scenario not racist. Thanks.

So you can't? Got it. Also your link does not apply since the existence was THOROUGHLY proven with links and facts. The issue here is you are trying to argue against the facts and have nothing to counter. Tr to keep up. :) So until you can support your claim the facts will remain.

Simple question. Which guy is racist and practicing racism?

A.) Black guy owns Ford Dealership, he won't hire whites because he thinks all whites are dishonest
B.) White guy owns a Ford Dealership, he won't hire blacks because he thinks all blacks are lazy
C.) Both A and B

C of course since based on your question its the only right answer, claim otherwise is a purely dishonest, uneducated and retarded claim.

Correct.

You desperately want to believe a black hating whites has the same social impact as a white hating blacks. It doesn't.

When a black says he hates whites, it means nothing to me, as a white. I don't need to worry about the perpetuation of injustice or disadvantage against whites as a whole. It's pissing in the wind. I can safely ignore it.

When a white says he hates blacks, it's a threat to blacks as a whole. It supports the perpetuation of injustice and disadvantage against blacks as a whole. It cannot be safely ignored by anyone, it harms society.

This is why criminal elements of whites do not riot at instances of perceived injustice. There is no threat to whites as a whole with which to rationalize rioting as an act of protecting the group.

Thus, racial bigotry is an individual act whereas racism is a social construct. Racial bigotry does not rise to racism unless it supports a system of injustice.

A white person saying he hates black people literally does nothing to that person. A lot of what people call systemic racism is pure nonsense. Laws are put in place and when people break said laws, they get put away. I dont get my info from fox, bbc, CNN, the wire etc. I get my info from FBI statistics, so when I say black people commit a disproportionate amount of crime compared to other races, I say that based of population percentage vs crime rate by race group percentage. Using the same source, white people are killed way more often than black people by the police annually. Black people are just covered more (this is not to say there are not racist cops). The problem is not in social construct, the problem is in biases passed down from generation to generation from both sides. You can pit a bunch of kids of different races in a room and they will play together until someone tells them to stop playing with someone who is different. But back to my previous point, there are no laws in place specifically designed to put black people down. Is there more policing in black neighborhoods? Yes, but why is that? Maybe it's because they get called in so much that it's pretty much just their work site. Are black neighborhoods trashy? Yes, but I have to say that it's because hood rats are just bad about keeping anything looking nice. In my city, the projects had received brand new building complexes for the residences to move in to. 5 years later, it looks just like the rest of the projects. Why would the city spend all that money on them if the system was so racist? And is it the same social construct that put a black man in the oval office? Shouldn't a black president have fixed most of these problems?

Are they racists? Depends.

If the black guy's general experience with whites were that most of them tried to cheat him, then thinking most whites are dishonest is a rational conclusion. So we may consider the idea racist but the black guy isn't really racist, he's just making a rational decision based on his experience. Probably he has had limited contact with whites, and, unfortunately, negative interaction with the whites he did encounter.

Same for the white guy who thinks blacks are lazy.

Both are simply misinformed based on their limited experience.

For either of them to be racist they have to know that there are many honest white people, and that many blacks are hardworking, yet continue to insist the opposite and hold on to a belief they know to be false. That is racism.
