My late mother was friends with a guy who was in the Air Force's Project Blue Book and he told her that aliens from another planet definitely exist - but they were not allowed to tell the public that.

I had a great-uncle who worked for Project Blue Book in a civilian capacity. He wouldn't talk about what he did but if you asked him his personal opinion if aliens had visited Earth he would reply "absolutely".

I am inclined to believe aliens haven't visited but it is fun to speculate.
