I am sorry for repeating another question Here. In Real Life, people share views with our friends and avoid those we disagree with. On Social Media many people pay most attention to those whom they at least disagree with and at most hate. On Social Media the most controversial views get most attention.

My position on Trump hasn't changed.... I don't like him, I didn't vote for him.... But I'm glad Hillary isn't president. I'm just not jumping on the I hate Trump bandwagon... I'lll say what I like and what I don't like... and that's it.

If you aren't castigating Trump's every move and decision and supporting antifa then you're a Trump-bot.

I'm sure social media has affected me in some way, but I wouldn't say "radicalized". More like more resolute.
 
Anyone who has had strangers on social media change their views never had very well-thought out views to begin with.

I used to be liberal. But when I realized that "liberal" is synonymous with burning down buildings, calling for the assassination of the Donald Trump, killing police officers, celebrating racism, having nationwide riots just because you don't get what you want, reintroducing segregation, and embracing Hillary Clinton even though she cheated throughout the primary and the general. When I saw that that's what it means to be liberal then my perception changed.

I was also very liberal. My family would joke about it. I felt the same and my views haven't really changed much, more that the meaning of being Liberal has greatly changed.

Yeah. That's another thing too. Donald Trump is far more "liberal" than Hillary Clinton so I don't even know why people in the Democratic Party are upset. He unlike Hillary he doesn't want to expand war into the middle east. Unlike Hillary he wasn't taking millions of dollars from banks during the primary. Donald Trump went to the Republican National Convention and said he would use the power of the federal government to protect members of the LBGTQ community from physical harm. He received thunderous applause even though that stance could be seen as very controversial in the GOP. Compare that to Her Majesty Queen Hillary. She's never taken a controversial stance in her life.

"Liberals" abandoned all of their so-called principles in order to oppose Trump blindly not even realizing that he has more to offer them than she ever did. It was even joked about how liberal Donald Trump is. The opposition makes absolutely no sense.

I support Welfare State and high minimum wage and many Old Liberal values like human rights.

But I was never for Communism.

Do you support setting police officers on fire and segregating our college campuses by race? If not, then you don't have what it takes to be new liberal.

Your description of a liberal is the propagandists one. It sure isn't what I believe or think.
 
I don't think I changed any of my views but I did change most of my views a year ago.
