He's 75 now and it's a 10 year appointment (or until Trumps fires him) so no.
 
Too old. No experience. Political baggage.
 
He's a politician with no law enforcement or prosecutorial experience. Plus, Trump thinks Lieberman will be "agreeable"... red flag, anyone?

No thanks. Lieberman is a hack who played both sides of the political aisle.

Besides, he withdrew himself from consideration. No one with even a lick of sense wants to climb aboard the Trump Trainwreck.

Given the climate in Washington, an independent is a good choice.

The FBI director is supposed to be a quiet, hidden entity, shepherding investigations along to the Justice Department. He is to control leaks within his department, and prioritize investigations.

There is always Sheriff Clark for a fall back candidate.

Joe Lieberman is, in my opinion, and honorable and decent man. I don't think he is a good fit for this position, but shame on you for calling him this vile name.

I believe Ray Kelly would be the easiest nomination process, a former NYC Commissioner.
 
No - Because it should be a requirement that the person heading the FBI actually have a spine.
