I don't think Pence likes Trump. I think taking the VP was just a career move for him. I think he finds Trump totally repugnant.

As "the left needs to concentrate on an actual issue" may the rest of us, Independents, Libertarians, manstream and moderate Republicans do whatever we want or must we follow your lead?

No need to follow my lead. It's an opinion. Except for the Constitutional fact. The VP assumes the Presidency. You can't get rid of a President until he is a President.

A President removed via impeachment is not necessarily subject to being charged in the courts. If he were facing criminal charges post-impeachment, I would be very much in favor of a pardon. The impeachment and the resulting disgrace that shall forever be recorded in our history is beyond sufficient..... It will complete crush him.

Though chanting "lock him up" would seem to be poetic justice given that he encouraged that chant about Hillary in his rallies.

For months I have heard speculation that Paul Ryan will become president by the time this is all said and done. The way things are looking now, that possibility cannot be ruled out.
