How long until the impeachment process is started against Trump?

My guess is that it can't happen until Jan. 2019 or thereafter. Dems would need to win a majority in the house or very close to it.
 
Unless someone has A/V evidence of Trump revealing classified info at this meeting thing, Trump will be impeached NEVER.
 
I said that the beginning of the end was last Tuesday, but the date of the End Times for Trump just got moved up, I think.

For one, the Washington Post, NYTimes, Reuters and WSJ are all carrying the story now. Secondly, the White House (yes, McMasters included) never actually denied the points of the story. That should be of concern to Trump supporters.

I assume you are aware that Nixon bragged that he could kill 70 million Russians in 20 minutes just days before he resigned. What protections do we have with trump?

I don't trust politicians by default, so why should I trust Trump when he says it had nothing to do with Russia, and IF it didn't have anything to do with Russia... why keep bringing it up?

Preet Bharara in New York, who was on the trump money trail. trump promised him he'd stay on, but we know what his promises mean. It's probably scary to think about investigating trump, given what you know .

It's not legitimate ground to be impeached for colluding with a foreign power? What if an independent prosecutor had found out that President H. Clinton (had she won) had exposed classified material via a private server to Russian hackers? Wouldn't that constitute a threat to national security (just like this)?

Some Democrats have been talking about impeachment since the inauguration. Maxine Waters said that Trump should be impeached last November:lol:

My suspicion is that it was less "sharing" secrets than boasting of them.

Based on those two things. Never. Only legitimate reason to impeach any President is when they are proven to have done something illegal. Something that no one has proven Trump has done.

Cameron has the right of it. Pence would be a much more effective, consistent, dedicated ideologue to the far and alt right than Trump ever has been and ever can be.

That said, these kinds of massive blunders continue to erode the support of elected Republicans. If he does something that is seirously illegal, or if they find real evidence of illegal activity during the campaign, it could get ugly.

That said, impeachment could backfire if Trump still has support of Republican voters. If nothing else, he'd burn down the entire White House and Republican Party rather than resign or go quietly.

True, he'll probably have to commit enough blunders to deserve being impeached 3 times over before Republicans pull the trigger.
