You seem upset that Trump won. I was addressing something someone else said. If you have a problem with Trump being president then I suggest you focus on registering as many illegal immigrants as possible voters. That seems to be the Dems' only hope at this juncture.

They short-sightedly demanded Comey be fired and now Trump can appoint anyone he wants because all he needs is 50% of the Senate.

I disagree, this whole debacle will come back to haunt the republicans not the democrats. The democrats are playing the long game because the make up of the US is changing away from the republicans, that is a fact. Now Hillary might have been the wrong one to tap into that, but the

next election I think that is going to be quite different.

No, the short sighted republicans used the nuclear option because with the trump idiotic behavior, in just 1.5 years the senate is going to shook up IMHO and that will most likely (seeing with all the anger) may end up giving the democrats the majority in the senate and then they can make it very difficult for Trump, the same goes for the congress.

I do not think the race was as dishonest as the one on the republican side. At least Bernie got a chance to give his voice and did well in some states but Hillary did better in other States and got more votes than Bernie.

And now you are saying that it was short sighted for them to ask for his dismissal after he most likely cost them the election? How dare the democrats. But fact is he was not fired and the democrats had to live with that but firing him now makes Trump look very bad, not the democrats IMHO.

And again, a millstone around their neck? No, that is the republicans who have a very bigly Trump sized Trump Tower around their necks and it will most likely cost them dearly.

How naive are you? Trump won the presidency by 11/9/2016. The possibility of Trump firing someone and bringing in a crony would have been on their minds right then.

Trump was sworn in on 1/20/2017. After nearly 75 days to digest their losses the possibility of Trump firing Comey and bringing in a crony didn't occur to them right then?

What the hell were the Democrats doing for over two months? Not strategizing? No, for me to believe that the Dems were worried about what you say would mean that the Democrats are the most short-sighted incompetent group of people on Earth. Maybe I'm still giving the Dems too much credit, but they have no reason to be worried about Trump appointing a crony otherwise they wouldn't have been demanding that Trump fire Comey for months and months and months and months and months without realizing that it afforded Trump the possibility of partisan hackery. Given that, in some people's opinion, he gave Hillary a free pass and effectively put her above the law, wouldn't it be a reasonable assumption that he would have possibly done the same to Trump?

Also, while that may be your opinion of him that he would put American before politics and the like. It was literally hours before his firing that many of the same people that are blasting this decision that were calling for him to be fired.

I don't know if I would say ISIS is less competent than the Democrats. While Democrats went from holding the majority of power in the US to the lowest point in 100 years, ISIS went from the JV team to controlling quite a bit of territory in the middle east......

I was just pointing out if you were judging the groups level of competence then it would seem that ISIS has been more successful in their endeavors.

I would agree on the KKK, they are almost non existent besides a few Internet trolls. This isn't exactly something to brag about for Democrats though, I mean a group of people that believed they are superior to others based on nothing but the amount of melanin in their skin aren't exactly the brightest group of people.
