It is an interesting idea. Everyone would be provided for even if they can not work. Unfortunately, some people would spend such income on drugs. I believe a much better plan would be the provision of free housing, free food, and free medical care to anyone who does not have them. Maybe that should be supplemented by a small allowance.

Since you did not include a "no" choice, I abstain.

Reasonable non-luxury food, one room shelter, and medical care an average citizen gets would be great.

Can you define this 'reasonable non-luxury food"? Just one room? With a window? With a kitchen? A bathroom? Who are these average citizens and what is the care they are getting?

Like I said earlier in this thread.

This has been tried.

People were put in projects and they were supposed to be happy.

What happened to those people and those places.

This plan sounds like it would make the whole country just on huge hell hole.

I can not!

Canadian, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish lawmakers have defined it. They worked decades on these laws.

Not to get in the way of anything, but who says there are any such things as innate rights? Where do you get that idea?

From reality. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. All the things I can do without the molestation from others. These truths are self evident.

When you provide these things for free those who do not have them, magically no one has them.

Even in USA people have some rights -- very few.

They have the rights that the people of America have chosen to provide, no more, no less. That's how rights work.

They are things that you WANT to be true, not things that you can DEMONSTRATE are true. Just calling something self-evident doesn't make it so.

Those things are self evident. There is nothing about wanting at all. The reason why they are called self evident is because it takes a complete moron to deny the obvious. The right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are things people can do without being molested by others. If I was the sole person on a deserted island explain how I could not live, do what I want, and pursue my ambitions.

Can do, but not have the right to do. You are mistaking ability for rights. Try again.

Lack of argument noted. Don't bother trying again. If you can even call that trying.

Do you ever get tired of running away? Seriously? That was pathetic.

I have no problem with 'running away' from your non-argument. Seriously. You are right. Your non-argument was pathetic.

Then by all means, run for the hills. It's no surprise you can't actually make a decent argument.

It's no surprise you can't recognize a decent argument, you can't even understand the difference between can do and right to do.

It's too bad we can't impose universal work and labor for that income

Would be my preference as well; obligatory infrastructure work for those capable as a companion to spending on the same for those currently not employed, or in education or training.

There should be an option for anyone who can not find a job -- they should have an access to get $15/hour job for the government at their ability level.

I can recognize one, you'd have to have one first. Let us all know when you develop something worthwhile.

Agree with health insurance and a retirement benefit. They can help in a school, a hospital a police station, They can rehab houses, parks, and roads for that matter. This would be better then public assistance at least we get a return and it instills some value to their lives.

Just about anyone but the severely handicapped and mentally ill can do something. Some could watch live video feeds of security cameras and report crime. How about providing day care? Teachers aids. Sit with a dying patient in a hospital.

Why not $30/hr? Or $50, or $100? Wouldn't that get them out of their situation faster?

I made one. At your dishonest 'not to get in the middle' bull****. It flew over your head. Now you are mad because you can't grasp it so you're left with acting like a child. Sorry about your ego.
