Why don't you try a dose of intellectual honesty instead of vitriolic rants? None of Trumps supporters are referring to immigrants as a whole as rapists. Though some of the illegal immigrants have committed rape, murder, and other crimes. None of Trump's supporters are declaring all Muslims as terrorists. However some fanatical extremist Muslims do happen to be terrorists. Nor do Trump supporters declare progressives as traitors. And your use of the term "hicks" suggests that you are prejudiced against some regions of the country and some income levels.

I want to be clear, that I think OP is over-reacting. And he went from 0-100 in .5 seconds. But, Donald Trump said he wished murder upon the families of terrorists. Just sayin'. We are living in extraordinary times. Likely, Trump was talking out of his ass. I don't know. I'd like Trump to clarify where he stands on this basic human rights question, that would violate the Geneva Conventions.

I don't begrudge the family of anyone. My entire family is Republican, but, they support a person who wishes death upon innocent people, and has delivered death to innocent people in Yemen.

It's the wrong face to put on the opposition. If there is a concerted effort on the left that includes a violent component it will get shut down by the government. Look at what happened to the Black Panthers. Look at what happened to SDS and The Weathermen. They were eliminated and are relegated to the history books.. As a person wanting to achieve left wing policy objectives, we need to follow the right channels by primarying incumbent democrats.. and making clear that we don't condone violence in disagreements.

I think he's genuine. I think he's a frustrated person who needs to ask himself WWBD? What would Bernie do? Would Bernie be in favor of using violence as a reaction to a person's constitutional guaranteed rights of speech and voting?

I criticized Obama for his bombings in Yemen, Somalia, Syria, and Libya. I did not vote for HRC, because I didn't want to be responsible for a "no-fly" zone in Syria. I'm a legitimate anti-war person. I don't just see Republican bombs and let the Democrat bombs by.

Their kids inherit the same hate and idiotic views on politics. From there, they vote the same and these votes hold down poor red states from reforming. If you didn't know, there are a lot of minorities in red states, small enough to be overpowered as a minority but still a good deal of people. That and the minor-aged children of these folks should gain some sympathy from you.

And they vote out for PURE RACISM AND HATE. They don't mind Trump's blatant xenophobia. They don't mind the fact that people of color will be hurt by Trump's policies. They refuse to give a single damn about people with different skin color or sexual orientation than them when voting. They even cheer the deportation of millions of innocent, hardworking immigrants, due to the utterly fake idea that "them brown peoples done stole muh jobs!"

Screw these hicks. I hope they SUFFER because of who they voted for. I hope that their water becomes undrinkable and they choke on their coal dust filled air. I hope that Trump's budget cuts to their hospitals and schools results in their illiterate children dying of easily preventable diseases like the flu. I hope that if the ACA gets repealed, Farmer Billy Bob suddenly realizes that he depends on it for his heart medicine. I hope that the stupidity, misguided selfishness, and racism and xenophobia of their vote comes back to bite them in the butt... HARD.

What I LOVE about debating American politics is no matter what is the issue, the other side will demonize the opposition. Name calling and worse has always been a part of that. One of my closest friends agrees with me on every substantive position. we agree on politics, music and she asks me advice for what she should wear for certain situations. Yet she voted for Kerry in 2004 and I voted for Bush How could that be? because to her abortion rights were the most important issue to her-she is the mother of two girls who currently are in their twenties. She believed the Democrats appointing judges would be in the best interest of her daughters.

so you claiming that right wingers vote against their best interests is bovine excrement but its typical of left-wingers. The entire premise of leftwing control freaks is that they know more about what is in your best interest than you do and that is why they think they ought to control your life.
