in some cases unfortunately because of the Willie Lynch blacks and white alike think in a certain way not all but most. Now if you have a fear of blacks that's your on damn problem based on a history where whites have been the teachers of violence hate and rape. Yet you fear blacks give me a break. Since you have no reply on why no repercussions for the 400 free years of labor since you have no appreciation for these blacks bringing you culture music and art yet you fear them. You tell me through out American history whom this verse best subscribe?

There are many reasons why a large percent of the black population is stuck in poverty. The Drug War/'tough-on-crime' laws have been major contributors, especially in recent decades.

The rebuttal is actually quite simple. That 4.7% of black adult males are incarcerated does almost nothing to explain poverty rates. There are FAR stronger coorelations with level of educational achievement (choice) and single parenthood (choice).
 
I would have liked to have voted for both generational welfare and single motherhood. Lack of education should be in there also.

Black poverty is the old form of liberals slavery rapped in a new blanket.

Homicide is a tiny stat, any analysis of a very small number and actors associated with it is a red herring, and your source is using "the poverty line" as some sort of equivalence in economic and socio-economic status. As Krivo and Peterson pointed out, being able to hold just economic equivalences between racial groups was hard enough because of the disparity extremes between blacks and whites in their studies.

4.7% at any one time. Compare that to 1.8% for Hispanics and 0.7% for whites. Another 4.5 million blacks are on probation. That does not include every African American who has had a rap sheet.

In other words, poverty makes things worse across groups. No one contests that. However, black crime is still higher, hence the quote that I posted.

By the way, one of their variables for disadvantage is "female headed families". In other words, personal choice.

Genetics went out in the 20's
Legacy. Hoarded into inner cities. Job and housing discrimination, lousy schools.
Slavery genes have been revived by Don and are hard to eliminate
