This is from an argument on another thread, where the claim was made that the opinion that black people can't be racist is a "liberal staple." This poll is a way of verifying that claim. Please vote and give your opinion.

A. There's no poll to vote on.
B. Yes, anyone can be racist.
C. Anyone calling it a 'liberal staple' is lying.

Yes, and frequently they are far more racist than whites.

Yes. Anyone can be racist (or otherwise be a bigot), however, for that to be very effective requires power. A bum on the street calling me a cracker or trailer trash may be intended as offensive yet look who is begging. ;)

Ive seen black people who are racist against white people and ive seen black people who are racists against other black people. Its not something that is exclusive to any ethnicity or race or other demographic.
 
Not gonna weigh in on this myself because I can't be arsed to deal with the fallout but because I know it is gonna get completely misrepresented, here is what people mean when people say 'blacks can't be racist':

anyone can be a racist. racism is just the modern extension of instinctive human tribalism. it boils down to the concepts of ingroup and outgroup, basically.

Anyone can be racist. Racism knows no bounds. Black people can most definitely be racist. There are plenty of them out there.

It's not a staple but it's not uncommon. The left is redefining racism to mean only what systemic racism means.
