You are making it up as you go along. For Trump to have whimped out of the draft, he would have had to have first been drafted. Clinton on the otherhand actually did receive at least one induction notice and dodged it. And Bush certainly did not opt out of serving in Vietnam. In fact he volunteered and was turned down.

I'm not your sport. :censored You were probably in diapers while I served my country. Got it?

And yes Trump whimped out of the draft. He's another bonafide chickenhawk that allowed others to come back in body bags because there was no way he was going to risk his hide.

Only if you served towards the end of the Korean war. Got it? I served my country in the early 1970s. if you did serve in the military, I thank you for your service, however your partisanship is clearly clouding your judgement regarding others who did or did not serve.

Once again... To have whimped out of the draft, one has to have first been drafted. And whether you like it or not, passing up on serving in the military does not remove one's right to support or oppose military deployments. You claimed to have served in the military, you should understand that. Though I suspect that it has more to do with the "R" in front of Trump's name on the ballot then anything else. And I am betting that you were not bothered at all by Bill Clinton actually dodging the draft after having received an induction notice.

Baaaaaaah. Clinton was a self important sleaze bag too. And not willing to serve is not willing to serve. You can't change that.

At least Trump didn't crap his pants like Nugent. But he still wimped out.

Not willing to serve even after getting an induction notice is tons worse then avoiding service through deferments. And I do not necessarily see college or health deferments as wimping out. Some just do not want to interrupt a college education with military service. Military service is not for everyone. The problem with a lot of you liberals using the term "chickenhawk" is that so many of you broaden it to anyone and everyone who did not serve in the military. I served, have friends who have served, I have a cousin who served in Vietnam and a work colleague that lost an arm serving in Iraq. And none of us have a problem with a politician who did not serve having hawkish views on military matters. You shouldn't either. But then, once again, I suspect it's more about the "R" in front of Trump's name on the ballot that you have an issue with.
