I support the portion where they aren't allowed to use software to prevent repairs 100%

The part where they're forced to sell repair parts I'm torn on.

These measures may be in response to legislation that is being lobbied that would allow companies to bar repairs or even manuals and parts to their products by anyone but themselves or a limited amount of certified service companies. While this may seem reasonable on the surface the fear is companies may simply not offer repairs or replacement parts on any item outside its required warranty period requiring consumers to simply purchase a new product.

Imagine if your 3 year old automobile warranty just expired and you break down. If companies have legally barred replacement parts, manuals, or service centers from making repairs that would leave you in a rather bad position.

DO you support right to repair legislation that many states are now considering. You can read an article from Vice here.

The states considering this are:
They are: Minnesota, Nebraska, Tennessee, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, Kansas, Wyoming, Iowa, Missouri, and North Carolina however they are considered dead in Minnesota, Nebraska, and Tennessee however.

I think this a great step forward for consumer rights. You should be able to repair the devices you pay for.

I picked other.Although maybe would have been a choice. I don't support forcing companies to sell replacement parts or release open source diagnostic manuals. on the grounds that companies shouldn't be forced to make, give or sell product they don't want to sell. I do support banning companies from locking out your device so it can't be repaired by the repairman of your choice or parts of your choosing being added to your device that you want repaired. Because once you buy a product that product is yours. The company that sold you your product shouldn't have the right to tell you what you can and can't do to your product.
