Anyone from NY is by default a liberal.

But on the other hand the President was a liberal for most of his life until he wasn't.

And I have the President pegged as a non partisan and ideologically ambiguous. He is a pragmatic business man who works with the people he has to work with and works within whatever system that exists to get things done. I certainly share some views with liberals, but that does not make me a liberal. President Trump certainly shared and/or shares some views with liberals, but that does not make him a liberal any more than his agreement with some conservative ideals makes him a conservative.

That is one of the things I appreciate about him: he is bound to or beholden to no political party or any rooted in granite ideology. That is a huge plus for any President.

Whose side are you on?

On one side with Bannon, you have a true conservative that wants to enforce our immigration laws, fight for strong American policies and on the other you have Kushner whose probably a liberal and is more self-interested than patriotic.

Is Kushner more loyal to the United States or China?

What we know about Kushner - He is liberal and his family has a history of corruption.

The dictionary just called and has asked that you to stop using the words "liberal" and "conservative."

Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but I don't have a hell of a lot more confidence in you. I think somebody who got crossways with somebody more than a quarter century ago is hardly an authority on who that person is now. I can imagine, however, that somebody who was good friends with Hugo Chavez and who mourned his death would not get along well with somebody like Bannon.

Indeed, you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about and you have the confidence that stems from ignorance.

Penn isn't the only ones to make such observations.

Bannon is an Alt-right lunatic. Kushner is Trump's dedicated Swiss Army Knife.

For the American people, there is no winning hand here.

The inexperienced and in-over-his-head plutocrat versus the extremist xenophobic destructivist.

Ummmm....

Don't rush me!!

Trumps views in the 1990s and early 2000s were quintessential "East Coast Big City" liberal. He was pro-choice, pro gay marriage, was for drug legalization and believed in universal healthcare. As well he was a registered Democrat through 2010. The only big issue that I know of that he has been consistently not-liberal on is gun control and even there he was for the assault weapons ban. Of course the tiger can change his stripes though the pertinent question would be why he did.

He's unpredictable, undisciplined, instinctual, self-centered, dishonest, and not terribly intelligent. Those are huge downsides for any president.

I really paid no attention whatsoever to Donald Trump until the last couple of decades in which he was a guest commentator now and then on Fox and Friends early mornings--he was probably the only business man up at those hours. That was long before he threw his hat in the ring and he spoke in typical Trump unfinished sentences and incompletely expressed thoughts then just as he does now, but I didn't have much quarrel with his comments. And I did watch the Apprentice that gave us no inkling of what his personal ideology or party preferences were.

Unpredictable, instinctual, self-centered I'll give you. I think he might be disciplined to a fault, I see him being wrong on some things now and then, but I have caught him in any dishonesty, and I would guess his intelligence is pretty much up there in the well above average category - some where in the mid 140's. Nobody who knows him or who has researched this would argue with that.

He apparently got good if not outstanding grades in college as he spent most of his time working in various business ventures, but he did graduate with a respectable ranking at Wharton.

Neither. Neither know what the hell they are doing. Neither has the respect of career professionals in government service. Neither report to a motivated boss who has even the slightest clue as to what he wants to do, is supposed to do nor how to do it.

Kushner of course. **** Bannon and all his racist sycophants.

Best thing about this is that we just now that Bannon will throw bombs as he goes down. And, that is awesome.

But, seriously---who in their right mind ever thought Trump wasn't going to throw the Deplorables under the bus and side with the elites?

Dumbasses who fell for the con. smh

Me.

I'll believe it when I see it.

All these predictions about what Trump will do or not do are sheer speculation and not worth a warm bucket of spit.

Trump doesn't even know what he might do next. He's fighting with a lot of the "Elites," so "siding" with the elites is improbable or maybe impossible.

Not exactly a resounding endorsement.

Not intended as an endorsement......just a statement of fact.

Trump is a question mark.

Even to Trump.

I am on neither ones side, one because he is an alt right hatemonger and the other one because I do not trust his judgement because he is way too young to hold so many balls up in the air.

Yeah. Only True Conservatives want to spend Trillions of Dollars on Shovel-Ready Stimulus Projects, and boast about it being the most exciting time since the 1930s.

A liberal with a family history of corruption? yes, yes, but enough about POTUS.

What is the issue you are talking about? Depends on the issue and then the stance taken by Bannon or Kushner.

Why do people post polls like this? Beyond biased?

Both of them are total assholes.

How can I vote for either???

I have no idea if Kushner is an asshole. Banner is. I know that I don't want either of them making or influencing policy decisions.

I assume this is sarcasm. If so, yeah, that's pretty much the stereotype. Ted Cruz had to find that out the hard way!

This post has to rank as one of the worst in the history of DP.

That's like asking who do I think was the better top level assistant? Martin Bormann or Joseph Goebbels?

They both stink...in different ways.

Same goes for Bannon and Kushner.
