For the record I dont think the Murdochs resist their paymasters, they will do as they are told and tell O Reilly that he has to retire.

But I hope that they dont.

Often time people in power with money are targets from unscrupulous women. A lot of these women are trying to be the next Megyn Kelly. Trying to get a quick buck or 15 minutes of fame.

And probably for every 1 woman 'cashing in' on bogus charges are 100 women actually harassed or assaulted by powerful men who get away with it because they are.....powerful. Takes a lot of courage to go up against a guy like Bill. You KNOW he's going to hire an attorney who if you have any skeletons will parade them in front of the world, and if Bill wants, he can keep the case alive for years, probably, before paying off. And in the meantime, torpedo your career.

I am saying that it is largely the lefties who are putting pressure on corporations to not support O'Reilly/FoxNews.

Lefty's aren't gonna watch FOXNews whether the sponsors pull out or not.

Fox will investigate Bill O'Reilly harassment claims, lawyer says - Apr. 9, 2017

Personally I don't watch "The Factor" very often. Bill O. reminds me of the drunk guy yelling at you at the end of the bar with his opinion on everything, but refusing to listen to anyone else's opinion. His personality is very similar to our current president's - a loudmouthed bully.

However, I think he's going to survive this current situation and remain on the air for a few more years. My vote is "yes".

Fox is just going to throw money at him and count their blessings for all of the attention and free press.

That's a great point! Fox and O'Reilly are getting a lot of attention over the scandal. Sometimes bad publicity pays.

If that is true, then why would any women apply and work for fox to begin with?

Men like Ailes, O'Reilly, Lumbaugh,Trump and those who think their behavior towards women and the vulnerable are acceptable disgust me. Those who defend them are disgusting as well.

I am more interested in stuff like the greater good and rights and justice....your queasiness runs far far down my list.

You forgot Clinton.

Your apparent approval of them tells me all I need to know about you.

So then I am super glad that I never said such a thing.

Am I supposed to just repeat everything you say or am I allowed to contribute an opinion of my own now and again?

Dude, it's like you go out of your way to spark controversy. Why is that?

I guess it would be proper for me to ask where I said you said that. But I won't.

Of course he would never never do what Trump admitted/brag about doing on tape.

It's an old Hollywood saying: "it doesn't matter what they say about you, as long as they're talking about you".

So only lefties care about the rights of women in the work place?

With my argument as it is I know before I open my mouth in this thread that I am in a hostile environment.

I might tend to act accordingly.

I will watch that.

Not sure what you mean. It's a good job, great pay, lots of people would die to be on air on a major news channel in NYC, etc.................. and none expect to be harassed or assaulted and the vast majority are not - they do their jobs, go home, do it again the next day.

I guess you have a point, but you'll have to state it directly.

I'm sure you understand how the law works. It is less expensive for big companies to settle a lawsuit than to fight it.

IF these women wren't so cowardly, they wouldn't have settled.

That's just stupid as hell from start to finish. Cowards don't file lawsuits against powerful people. And what makes settling a lawsuit a 'cowardly' act? What should they do?

And if you want to claim big companies typically don't fight lawsuits, but just get out their checkbook, I'd like some of whatever you're smoking.

Violates in what way? This women are more than welcome to file a complaint with Fox's HR department and none of them did so.

That would be a great idea. What could go wrong? After all the boss was Ailes who had his own problems with sexual harassment, and the woman is going up against Fox News' biggest cash cow. I'm sure she can expect a fair hearing....

So women knowing of all these apparent problems with Fox News still apply for them for what reason?

Yeah, I bet the multiple audio tapes from those "unscrupulous women" are fake news, too.

And the making excuses for domestic violence, which you've done on this forum, multiple times.
